Must be FWP time again. I've reached the conclusion that my step brother is a manipulative chump. Every time he calls me it's to ask for favors involving transportation. That's because I have a vehicle and he doesn't. He's never up front about details or any type of reimbursement. He recently lost his job as a car salesman. He called me up today asking me to help him "move stuff". But as usual, he didn't give me prior notice. He's trying to move out of his apartment, but he didn't specify where he was going to move. I later called his dad and my mom to ask if they were aware of the move. From our conversation I found out he borrowed an old truck from his sister and her husband for two weeks before breaking it. He never reimbursed them either. Which is probably why it would be convenient to have me use my truck to help him. But not this time. I basically told him to fuck off, in a polite manner. I'm tired of being a Yes Man when I'm not gaining anything in return half the time. It ends up with me being all give and no take. From now on I'm ignoring all future phone calls from him. I have a feeling he's about to be persona non grata. A former car salesman without a vehicle of his own. Ironic. I normally don't get this pissed off at people, but I'm so sick of his manipulative bullshit.

I don't mean to be a goodie-two-shoes, but I'd much prefer to wait until an album is officially released and buy it than to try and grab a leak or bootleg. One, by paying for it, I help the artist realize the fruits of their labor, and two, I don't want my computer to get viruses. Plus, I've been a loyal Ae fan for almost 16 years. I'd be more than happy to continue my support for them with my scratch.

One of the most shining aspects of WATMM are the pics we post, whether they're of parody album covers by IDM artists or WATMM members themselves. There is true talent in these. I mean it.

Jeezus, truly sorry to hear that m8. Problems like these are worth talking about, so don't feel bad about venting. Is there any possible way to get them to pay up, maybe bring it up to the authorities? Maybe I'm being naive.

Yeah, Bioshock is fun. Bioshock 2 is essentially the same as the first, except you play as an early Big Daddy prototype and is set eight years after the first game. Honestly there's very little difference in gameplay. Only two more months until the next Bioshock game, BTW!

Just finished watching Inception for the first time about an hour ago. The movie got better halfway through. I was expecting some run-of-the-mill shoot-em-up action flick, but this was one of the most cleverly done action films I've seen since The Matrix. Not only was there intense action, but it was a mindfuck. I like movies like I like music and games - ones that bend your imagination. I'll give it the obligatory rating of 9/10.

Had one of those "could only remember the bit before waking up" dreams again about an hour ago. This one was kind of disturbing though. I witnessed some teenagers in gym shorts on a street corner downtown, and realized they were in a shootout with each other using automatic weapons. It's as if they got bored with virtual gun play and wanted to do it for real.

lol same here. Two years ago I sold like ten DS games because I hardly ever played them. The only reason I use my DS anymore is as a Japanese-English dictionary, because I have a "game" that enables it to be used for that purpose. In fact, I used it every day in university classrooms when I lived in Japan. Korg DS-10 is also pretty good for making music on the fly. Might not be as sophisticated as programs for the PC, but it's a good handheld platform for laying down beats during a ride on the train or bus.

Grandfather's in the hospital, but his respiratory function has supposedly improved. This year's been a damn roller coaster, I tell you.
