  1. Seems like I'm always slow to pick up on Sean's live streams. Regardless, just DL'd the mix this morning and got about a half hour in. Digging it so far. Sounds like some Mark Bell and Jack Dangers stuff thrown in, but I'm not 100 percent sure. Great way to start off the year though with plenty of listening material.
  2. Can someone pls punch Matt Gaetz in the throat and then stomp him in the walnut once he's on the ground...can't stand that piece of goat fuck (Not that there's any breaking news about him atm...he's just a sack of shit in general)
  3. I'm sorry. She sounds like a massive pain in the ass. Why does she always have to be around though? Can't your friend explain to her that you guys need some "bro time" every now and then?
  4. Yeah it's too much of a divergence from the 'Shock games aesthetically to have that shadowy, decaying vibe. I think Arkane were going for a 1960s Cold War-esque retrofuturism look - made more obvious by the "space race" references eluded to by the scattered bits of game lore in loading screens. I remain optimistic. Had my eye in this one since 2017. I heard Atomic Heart underwent development hell for a while like Doom 2016 - another thing in common among the two titles.
  5. Another fresh Atomic Heart teaser...supposed to drop as soon as next month I think
  6. Prey 2017 is perhaps the closest game there is to a System Shock game that isn't System Shock. One of those titles I keep coming back to at least once every year. Hell, even that Looking Glass video call system in-game is dead giveaway homage to the original TTLG team behind the aforementioned classic.
  7. アケオメ ? I have a feeling there's gonna be more cool shit in 2023 than what we got in 2022. Several promising new game titles, hopefully the next Dune movie, and I'm not gonna speculate about our favorite Warp artists, but...you never know. I also plan on buying something expensive in late January, but that's all I'm going to say about it.
  8. Fresh S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 trailer just dropped Also RIP Volodymyr Yezhov - one of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. devs who died while fighting for his country
  9. At least he admits that he's a Douche. I already pre-ordered S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 some time last year. But safety should be GSC Gameworld's priority rn. Also this game (Moon Runner) looks pretty dope. Plus it's free.
  10. Specifically 1:00:14 to the end. The feeling I remember from the ending while attending this gig IRL was a sense of euphoria beyond words - one I may never experience again in this lifetime. One of my most precious memories I hold on to in the midst of my current spiritual and existential malaise as a reminder of what made me who I am.
  11. Gabe Newell is the only billionaire I can think of who still has modesty. Even then his net worth is just shy of 4B USD. Regardless, my life would be quite different without his contributions as Valve's CEO and founder. Congrats BTW. I should delete my Twitter account too, since I haven't used it in six months anyway.
  12. Decided to try out High On Life. So far I do not regret my purchase. EDIT: I don't regret buying it, but it's not like there's anything ground-breaking about it either. Combat is similar to Borderlands minus the RNG aspect. Dialogue is funny at times and not try-hard cringe like BL either. Overall, it's...acceptable.
  13. I don't think I've really tried much in the way of new titles this year. Bought Scorn, and it's sitting in my Steam library, but I've still never touched it. Played Part 1 of Cultic around Halloween time frame, which is a pretty solid boomer shooter - draws heavy influence from both Blood and RE4. Lately I've been back on the NMS grind, with OG Synthetik on the side for my hard combat fix. TCP looks intriguing but I haven't even touched the Dead Space series yet. Still wanna set up a streaming channel at some point but I've got higher priority projects atm. Looking forward to the System Shock remake next year though. Supposed to drop March 2023, last I heard.
  14. I've recently been quietly working on my next planned EP. I don't want to go on about it too much here, because action speaks louder than words etc. But I have a feeling it'll be my strongest work to date once it's finished. I think I'm close to halfway there now. Also thinking about that one oompa loompa-looking guy who raged against a trumpet player on a NYC street back in late 2013...for some reason when he said "the artist respects the silence that serves as the foundation of creativity", it's been resonating heavily with me lately.
  15. Haven't played TCP yet, but I watched a gameplay live stream the other day. I guess that GRP thingy you get is nearly identical to the telekinesis ability in Control. I think I got pretty far in that game two years ago but never finished it.
  16. WATMM has been incredibly resilient though if you think about it, considering it's still active for nearly a quarter-century.
