Can someone who cares create a separate whinging thread? its my opinion and its pretty valid, deal with it I never said your whinging wasn't valid, but if you read this thread you'd see that it's expressed a dozen or so times and is therefore redundant, hence my suggestion for a separate thread. This is like saying a season of a TV show is too long and too expensive and you'd rather pay that money for a movie instead. too bad, i would say youre also "whinging" at this point get over it

    i think in urth of the new sun severians story gets pretty mind bending towards the end, even more so than the earlier novels... i tried reading some of gene wolfes other material outside of severians tale and it wasnt the same level of quality

    i think $33 for digital was a bit much... i'd rather have a 2xLP for that price, or another box set like exai warp is really taking advantage of the autechre "brand" and they can get away with it too then again 4hrs of autechre is pretty good

    i listened to the new gimu cassette today... i've been following him for a few years now, and his music keep getting more refined with every release. sending out good vibes to him, because he's been having a hard time (according to the info on his bandcamp page).

    i've been buying each stars of the lid album starting with music for nitrous oxide (1995) also a gem that i found in 2011, but revisited a few months ago was the john foxx / harold budd 2cd set. think "atmospheric piano." the fennesz sakamoto piano collab (cendre) stuff must have been influenced by budd imo. he has a large discography (beginning in the 70s(?)) that is well worth looking into.

    im tired of the countless indie titles that appear on steam every day. steam is marketing towards kids it seems with all of these goofy brightly colored things for $5 on pc, its either consolized triple-a games that are dumbed down, games that are early access (dead on release), or low quality crowdfunded games two i am looking at are the elite remake, and pillars of eternity. those are both crowdfunded though :/

    I like how the album art highlights the consumerism/negative connotations of music as a product... It reminds the listener of relatively small overhead costs vs. the retail price of the album

    Does anyone think that the Japanese disc with the bonus track will be really valuable in the long term?
