  1. Always found the Bill Murray love in to be very studenty, naff, generic and contrived. A phenomenon perpetuated by frat house dorks who follow the herd and haven't seen pussy since they were ejected from their mothers birth canal.

  2. Spoiler

I was expecting some big feel good ending after the all the horrors the boy had endured for almost three hours. But he just ends up on a mini-bus heading somewhere unknown with his father. What is the audience meant to take from that? It was too subdued.

  3. It's a double edged sword in that sense. It can be a source of new information for the seasoned noob. My frustration lies with the necrobumpers themselves, offering nothing as means of a reply to justify the gravedigging. BUMKUM or whatever he's called did a humdinger recently on this very subforum. I did well to bite my tongue. The worst offender of yesteryear was a guy called delet. A spammer and necrobumper who would say "heh" at the end of his posts, as if he wasn't annoying enough already.

I heard Mark Kermode speak highly of Punch-Drunk Love in his review of Uncut Gems so I'll definitely check it out.

Hahahahaha noob ? Punch-Drunk Love and Uncut Gems are folklore, man. Jesus. How old are you? If you're just out of nappies I'll let you off the hook! ? Hahaha, oh man.

You should have deleted him from Facebook after his crimes.

  6. In the thread title, in brackets, the thread starter, whoever he is, has told people who to vote for. Delete that. There is no way that should be happening. So douchey. Why the hell does he think he holds any influence over anyone?

  7.  Listening to this while watching watching Brahms: The Boy 2 and it works surprisingly well as a soundtrack. Especially when you consider how long Brahms had been living inside the wall cavities of the mansion, you can imagine Brahms listening to m4 Lema and getting lost in there, then when he bursts out and attacks the nun au14 works perfectly.

  8. You've always been one of the most cringiest posters. I think the misguided pretentions plus the stating of obvious things and an inability to express yourself in words. What we get with you is the full package. The worst of both worlds.

  9. I listened to this pacing around the kitchen. It was what I expected, letting off some steam after their long form endeavors. Did I like it ? Yes. There were a couple of stand out tracks. Some of the ambient stuff was sublime. Do I need to hear it again very soon? Indeed.

  10. Newyorknowhere I don't know who the guy is who started the thread is either but they did a horrible job. They couldn't even get the basics right and a mod had to intervene and baby them through the process. I hope he's reading this so he knows that he has to do better. From what I gather he's an Italian slacker with connections to the Vatican in Rome. Update: I just seen him lurking, watching. Thread starting privileges revoked please.

  11. We're in the midst of a pandemic. Even when the avatars were circular the world continued to turn. Since then we've moved on. A man who does an unspecified job on cruise ship is having trouble with a burger emoji when he pinches the screen to zoom in. There is also a man who has an avatar that glitches in a cool style like an old MTV video who didn't take kindly to the suggestion that it hadn't uploaded properly in circular form, nor the criticism that such a gif was fairly contrived and done to death in this day an age. But all that pales into insignificance if we dig a little deeper. I have just seen a complaint from a German man who says theres something wrong with the size of the bell in his alert notifications. He thinks it would be better suited to a 27“ monitor rather than his Huawai P30. Theres a lesson there for all of us.
