  1. got an iphone se 2016 a while ago and I'm running it on there, you can do whole tracks in it even with a small screen like the se2016. it's really good at a lot of things. might get an ipad at some point, but I kind of like the super portable nature of it now.

  2. just played through Dishonored, great game..

Going through Dishonored for the first time and it's very reminiscent of Deus Ex 1, Bioshock 1, and Half Life 2 while somehow being better than all 3 combined.

I think I got about halfway through Dishonored, but suddenly got bored and stopped playing. I'd honestly take any of those three over Dishonored.

It's like "kill everybody you become bad guy. tranquilize everybody you become good guy." After I realized that, it was pretty much an ending spoiler for me.

yeah I really enjoyed playing, it's a good story, but I didn't feel I deserved the chaos ending.... basically I neutralized all targets without killing.. I only got in a bit of a kill frenzy on the waterway assassin level, too intense to be polite. really dig everything about it though, and will probably play through again.

also reminded me I have Shinobido way of the Ninja on the PS2 I should play through, much more difficult for me since I suck at using controllers. but no nice guy bs as far as I know.

  3. Again, sorry about my question... but I'm looking for a vst like a granulizer but with the capability of moving through the whole sample, not staying in the same place... Again, like Tim Hecker's piano stuff (grainy, glitchy) I love that effect.

Reaktor does that stuff really well, and you can use it as a vst

  4. I think the internet has reached a new level of autism

Every single word in Star Wars: A New Hope sorted alphabetically.

bad bad bad bad bad bad bad

base base base base base base base

    *samples

lol the 'be' part is ridiculous

  5. @ vincentvc : I have those speakers too and they shouldn't be noisy. Or wait, what do you mean with noisy ? Mine used to make noises (which I understood coming from a ground loop according to my searches. There was a static noise + some noises according to what I was doing on the pc. I remember that scrolling with the mouse was always a problem for example. Weird). I solved the problem by removing the ground in the speaker cables.

But if you're talking about standard (white like) noise, there's something wrong. Do the two of them produce this noise ?

PS. nice pic missingsense ! looks comfortable

yeah it's mainly static white noise. even if i remove the audio cables theres still static coming from the tweeters.. it's very quiet.

i suppose it's more of an electricity problem in the house? i've plugged them into different sockets on different levels of the house, they all give me white noise..

yeah I've had some issues with groundloops and other hums in the past. still do, but I got the worst stuff out of it... just make sure that if you have ungrounded power, all of it comes from the same outlet. keep the audio and power cables as seperate as you can manage... and get balanced audio cables if your mixer and gear has balanced ins and outs for them!

if I put the volume way up I still hear lots of digital rumble and some ground, but it's no big deal.

btw I have the white noise too, comes with the speakers I guess... I remember the big ass expensive speakers we had at school also had this..
