yoker does kind of rhyme with porter in glaswegian, but why porter? thats gone over my head. i also think it plays on the reality that serious jakeys/deedees will very rarely ever leave the small area of town that they grow up in. so although yoker is just a grim, impoverished chunk of glasgow a 15 minute bus ride from the west end, it would seem completely exotic to a man who had literally never left scoutstoun.

it's a joke that deedee thinks yoker rhymes with porter right? like that's a joke to scottish people too? considering how close he lives to it, i think maybe he picked it just cos its a funny sounding place name, even in glasgow.
  5. some women have been wanting to bone incarcerated serial killers since they first existed. lots of people are fucking nuts.
  6. i didnt realise its not in fixed corner camera mode. that shit made it way scarier.
  7. It won't make everyone violent, it just has that possibility.
  8. Be honest, you've just gone mad with power.
  9. buckfast is absolutely mental. makes you feel like you're on top of the world, at the height of your powers. dangerous stuff. definitely brings out any underlying, repressed violent urges in people with a full bottle. i quit it a few years ago, along with drugs, technically, but il very occasionally have a quarter of a bottle if im especially missing drugs while out for a dance. a full 750 bottle has something like 2.4 full grams of caffeine, which is about 12 to 14 cups of coffee. ive got that maths wrong, i think it would be 240mg actually. its 38mg/100ml.
  10. that says a lot about your sense of humour.
  11. current game: slay the spire. verdict, awesome. roguelike card game, no randomly generated dps stats ingame so the level of strategy is phenomonal. ive only played the ironclad so far, reached the act 3 boss but got annihilated.
  12. i actually think if command and conquer red alert 2 had more adpative AI i would stiull be playing it to this day. even with 8 AIs on hard mode though, they only had 2 attack patterns they would just repeat every 3 minutes. the first 20 minutes was hard as fuck, but once you had your base strong you just annihilated them.
  13. AoE2 was crazy hard. i dont ever remember winning a game. even when you typed in cheats the ai opponent got them aswell, so you would storm over with 1000 units only to find the ai had them aswell.

    Brexit :(

he has also been clear on his alternate plan for brexit, keeping the customs union completely intact being his main priority. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/nov/18/jeremy-corbyn-to-set-out-labour-alternative-to-pms-brexit-plan it would make more sense for him to oppose brexit, but to be fair to him, he has been sceptical of the EU the whole time it seems.

    Brexit :(

There is no obvious alternative at present. Corbyn is really showing his true colours this week (a kind of muddy brown / grey) He is great at telling other people that their opinions are shite without actually bringing any of his own to the table. The fact that he doesn't want to meet with Maybot to discuss Brexit tells me that he has no opinions of his own that are worth discussing. Saying that "we are a democratic party and our members will decide" is horseshit and I hope the members soon decide to boot him out and find someone with a spine. see, where are you getting your news from? it was may that excluded corbyn from crossparty talks after the vote lost.

    Brexit :(

its looking like it will be delayed.
  17. was his first appearance the sports reporting on the day today, or earlier?
  18. i cant cope with audiobooks. the spoken word is too slow for me in the knowledge that a book exists.
  19. both the books are great too, but i would recommend watching enough of him on screen to make sure your brain auto-reads in his voice.
  20. considering good condition mk5g's are £750 each on the second hand market, thats actually pretty decent if they are in the same ballpark of quality as the mk5s.
  21. brasseye has proven itself to be an accurate prophet of human/media stupidity over the last 20 years tbh.
  22. i have a small infant 2nd cousin called, his parents apparently oblivious, chris peacock.

i see him all the time now, he lives down the road from me. ive been furiously attempting not to acknowledge him, that must get incredibly tiring.
