  1. I thought he was like 60 in Rocky.
  2. I can't handle the bright theme, it clashes with my personality. TH theme works. but need that muted dark theme
  3. So, where in the stage where humans are only seen as a resource (not that hasn't be the case for awhile already) to be exploited to make stonks go up. If humans are not good for that they are a burden. Great, just great.
  4. Social media is the worst thing to pop up with the internet. Ignoring the data mining that it allows corporations to do, it also gives voices to every nutter there is and if they are charismatic enough they can influence millions. Although a bonus with twitter is that "important" people can expose their ignorance and stupidity to everyone and dispell any carefully crafted public image built by expensive PR managers. Elon "Apartheid Clyde" Musk being the prime example of a terminally online billionaire exposing his immense ignorance and stupdity by just posting. And he's not even good at it.
  5. Is it surprising an apartheid South African is cozy with nazis and other right wingers?
  6. I can't add anything but to say that yes, Plaid has a certain je ne sais quoi with their sound. I have the same with anything Trent Reznor produces. I
  7. Do the Barbican shows differ alot from the Helsinki show?
  8. How many of the tweets where the most innocous things are shutdown due to "mourning" are jokes? Or is there some kind of mass psychosis going on in the UK. Like 30 hour queue (yes, Brits love to queue) to see a box with corpse in it (I bet it's empty anyways). What is wrong with these people? And lol at Charles sacking his staff as soon as possible. Fuck you, peasants.
  9. Nice gig in Helsinki, too bad about the technical issues. Sounded like the soundsystem couldn't deal with the bass. But the music was great, at somepoint sounded like somerhing from the Draft era. Ilpo was cool also. Seen one half of Pan Sonic (rip Mika).
  10. The Queens passing is the cherry on top of the crumbling cake that is the UK. No more colonies, cut of from the European collective, now it's just a sad gray damp island in the Atlantic that is going down the shitter with the Tories at the helm with a fresh idiot as the leader. Just left is Scottish independence and a united Ireland and the collapse is complete.
  11. Been here since 2001 or 2002. Posting much less. But WATMM is still my homepage on my browser.
  12. Tesla owners having multiple problems due to shit build quality with their expensive cars are a great example of the sunk cost fallacy and stanning for Musk. @ing Musk in tweets for help. "My beta autopilot Tesla drove into a truck and I am now paraplegic, but still love the car"
  13. Re-visiting Ae's earlier stuff in anticipation for their gig in Helsinki and Exai is a damn strong album, definetely has some bangers on it. I really rate it, Draft 7.30 still my favourite (first album to come out since discovering Ae a few years earliers, probably has a lot to do with it), but Exai coming up as a strong contender.
  14. Sounds like it's inspired from the more ambient tracks from ae's nts sessions
  15. Someone ask will their gig end before 21 in Helsinki because I have a train to catch
  16. Apparently their recording of the Primavera gig got fucked up, but they will record the upcoming gigs which will likely be released at some point in the future (after the touring ends)
  17. "Boc is probably in the future thiking about the past" lol
  18. School shootings are as American as apple pie. It's just how it is and nothing can change it, no matter how high the pile of dead children gets. Whole country is a hyper capitalistic death cult.
  19. Why is a 50 year old billionaire acting like a teenage edgelord all the time?
  20. I caught the odd TNG episode when it came on TV here, B5 was my jam when it came on TV. I have not re-visited either since and I think I will let them be gilded by nostalgia in my mind.
  21. Picard S2 was a mess, the first season was also a mess. Having 20+ credited producers on it probably doesn't help. And it seems S3 is yet again an overhaul of the story when they collect all the old TNG cast from the celebrity zoo in cons to try to re-heat that old TNG feels. Strange New Worlds seems alright, liked Pike when he featured on Discovery. Discovery is a bit hit and miss but overall alright. I am not a trekkie by any means so I don't really get upset when the new Trek is not the same as TNG.
  22. Enjoyed their stuff so will be checking out the new one. Don't mind if there is some MCing in the tracks.
