I went to the aquarium in osaka… just a bunch of depressed and confused animals being photographed by equally depressed and confused humans… I wish photography was forbidden, for my sake as well, would have enjoyed it way more if I didn't try all the time to get the best photo/video I could...

circles on bathroom floor, the pixels on the gigantic led wall we have in the theater, lots of patterns I've seen in temples/shrines around asia… it's crazy… you just need to cross your eyes or focus on something between your eyes and the pattern and when you try to focus the pattern there it is… I got dizzy af in these temples cause it was entire walls...

rewatching FLCL 1st season for the 3rd time… it only gets better… love it to pieces… the level of detail in this beast is magnificent... they manage to express all the carachters emotions trough subtle animation cues, e.g. (
) and son on and on and on, way too many to put into words... so many different types of animation techniques, extreme over the edge absurd animation sequences... completely surreal... amazing sound fx, everything neatly put together…
pretty cool soundtrack as well, emo parts for the romantic/melancholic takes and the hard rock ones for the battle scenes, the one bellow reminds me of Weezer somehow… it's from a j rock band called "the pillows"...
tried watching 2nd season some time ago but didn't stick with me… I'll get back to it some other time...

I didn't buy them though... it's all in Japanese and b/w... just made the videos on the store... it was in Osaka... but I bought one of those sketches books and some Asuka Langley and Rey figures... I'll post pics l8r...
