Oh God. The worst thing about that, other than the fact that it's unlistenably bad, is that it's a fucking collaboration with Sparks, it should be madly creative and bonkers and it feels like all they got them to do was say one shit line and then repeat it throughout the track
I know. What the hell!

That fucking Belfast thing is absolutely hilarious, though. I couldn't stop laughing watching it. Fuck knows what was going through their minds when they decided it would be a good idea
I know, it's bad!

It seemed like they could do strange tracks and humorous bits at one point, and then they lost the ability and started churning out really cringey stuff maybe one track in ten.
Yeah. Then there was Acid Pants!

Nah, not on board with this. The Altogether has really grown on me as a flawed experiment at doing an electro-influenced pop record, Wonky has some really great tracks, and there's a lot of great stuff on Monsters Exist. Optical Delusion was a bit of a step down, although the best tracks I still think are excellent.
There's some excellent tracks on every album (just good on Optical Delusion though) but the last great album is The Middle of Nowhere. Their ultimate eras will always be Snivilisation/In Sides. Unfortunately that is long, long gone.

I just wish they'd go back to the Snivilisation/In Sides era and make intelligent music again

Spring for me, Hard Normal Daddy is so perfect for April when the weather is slightly improving and nature coming back to life.
Mate, I've bought a few albums around this time. So good!!

Even though I've largely lost interest in breakcore (preferring jungle and dnb quite a lot more these days), Wendorlan has me quite excited
Me too!
And yeah, I don't listen to half as much breakcore as I used to. More drum and bass, but still listen to Squarepusher.

I thought that, but then the Chime, III and Midnight/Choice 12"s are all represented in full. Just a really strange decision to me.
I know!
