  1. That is interesting. Demon's Souls did that to me, I played like 10-20 hours of it and hated how badly it kicked my ass. I changed my mind after I picked up Dark Souls a few months later, was all about it afterwards. Been wanting to play Demon's or DS1 again, but no PS3. Bloodborne is so good though, so damned good.Bloodborne really is amazing, yeah I'm with you on demon souls I think I might just get a cheap ps3 for it. Would love a remaster though. Apparently it's the hardest of the souls games so you did well with 20hours :-) Man I love FromSoftware style though, their artyle is so mesmerising and their sounds are very immersive. It's hilarious, I remember 2 years ago playing Bloodborne thinking "no difficulty setting?" "what! No map to guide me??" haha, for me these FromSoftware games are more than just games though, it's like entering a dream, a dream I love to visit for a couple of hours everyday :-D and dying... Lots A very good description, especially in reference to Bloodborne. Got the DLC for it? So good. I did go back and finish Demon's Souls actually, after I finished DS1 and had a better handle on how to deal and how to look for help/strategy online lol. Such good games, I'll definitely have to pick up a cheap PS3 in a year or two so I can have them forever in case they never get remastered :) Yeah I think getting a ps3 would be the way to go for me too, would love to play Demon's Souls and DS1 :-) I actually got the game of the year edition for Bloodborne which comes with the DLC... Looking forward to it for sure, there's still lots about Bb I haven't sunk my teeth into so lots of good times ahead I'm sure that's awesome you finished Demon's Souls btw, should do ng+ for sure ;-)

  3. How taste can change is surprising to me. I'm like 20hrs into Bloodborne. I remember not liking it when it was my first ps4 game - so I got rid of it. 2 years later and I couldn't care for any other game atm. Wanting to get Demon Souls, Ds1 and Ds2 ...playing Ds3 but watching lets plays on youtube spiled it for me, though I'm looking forward to playing through to both dlc's

    elseq 1-5

A lot of great work here. its very enjoyable to hear the subtle differences in the patterns, some tracks remind me of quaristice style, must be the mood or colour or something.
  5. Track names no track names who gives a shite just listen to the shit who knows might the last of it for all we know
  6. This is really great awesome work! Thanks phudo-mate! Also I think I'll be naming the tracks: AE_LIVE_AI AE_LIVE_AIAI AE_LIVE_AIAIAI AE_LIVE_AIVE AE_LIVE_VE AE_LIVE_VEAI AE_LIVE_VEAIAI AE_LIVE_VEAIAIAI AE_LIVE_AIEX AE_LIVE_EX AE_LIVE_EXAI AE_LIVE_EXAIAI AE_LIVE_EXAIAIAI AE_LIVE_EXAIVE AE_LIVE_EXVE AE_LIVE_EXVEAI AE_LIVE_EXVEAIAI AE_LIVE_EXVEAIAIAI AE_LIVE_EXAIEX AE_LIVE_EXEX as a reference to their last Lp title :-)
  7. As much as i'd like more ae in any situation and i agree on the physical copy, i'm completely content with these as the main release. I've been listening to the first four so much that i've kind of sectioned them off into different subsections e.g. i think krakow is a lot more linear and straight, whereas utrecht is far more abstract and brussels is just so fucking funky. So it's like having a single release that i can then cater to the mood i'm in, which is an amazing concept that i've not experienced before, and will without doubt increase the longevity of the release. And besides, this is by far my favourite overall sound style that ae have adopted. Completely out of this world. I've been having a hard time listening to other stuff recently, cause it all just pales in comparison to this. All other electronic music sounds like it was made at a computer, but this just sounds natural, and real, not like someones sat down and programmed it but like it's formed on its own and is then morphed and warped of it's own accord, constantly shifting and evolving into something new. fuck i dunno what i'm saying i just love this so much Yeah fair enough mate! Agree with the sectioning of each recording - I just am overwhelmed and can't get enough of this. driving back home tonight I made a few heads turn lets just put it that way! I do think these wonders will endure for the ages never to seize enjoyment or admiration for the blokes. None the less the application and development of these fucking insane patches on a 'album' format release is mind boggling - still so much left to venture (for me) thus far only listened to the first 2 of 9 so bring it on :-7
  8. This might be kind of 'off topic' but do you guys think this is a new way autechre are releasing an 'album' so to speak? Might there be tracks coming after in the form of vinyl/cd? (From there new live patches/software) Id be happy to wait until mid next year for say a 10 track LP, but not another 3 years! That's for sure. What do you guys think/know about this? We've all wanted this to happen though - so great to have it finally released, it's wonderful, but I'd always want me an Lp -> Ep vinyl/cd release with the artwork to admire and treasure.

    draft 7.30

Hey can you point out a track of theirs with this? (Epic non-existant) Not quite sure what you mean???Should have been a bit clearer I guess http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yeCOgIaZyjQ Gotta love the breakdown on that track. Gotcha! V.proc I don't quite get yet ...differ strokes for different folks I guess, thanks for link! Was brushing my teeth to it and doing the no pants dance

    draft 7.30

That's exactly how I would describe it mate! "Bending and snapping" most of the tracks do that on this lp. There's a sort of tension and then a release, swirling of the beats blanketed with eerie underneath atmospherics. Love this lp...

  12. Just showed mum these and she was like; there's just two of them!? Me: yes. Mum: that's a heck of a lot of noise they make for just two of 'em! Huh mum's almost 60 and cool as :-/
  13. Frequencies I have to admit I might need to watch this again to fully understand it. I found the movie as it progressed more and more existential, and I love the involvement of classical music to it's themes as a resolution. I couldn't possibly elaborate any further, must watch it at least another time. I'll score it 4/5 stars.
  14. The Lazarus effect 5/10 shitty acting plus story line. But when Olivia Wilde goes nuts, it gets some what watchable. The line between science/religion was too blurred for my liking. And I found it hard to take this movie seriously, I mean they start talking about hell, and introduce religious motifs that then by the end the movie goes from scientifically laughable to horrifically bad. Olivia Wilde was looking mighty fine though and played the creepy resurrected super powerful chick part to a tee.

    Untilted

I remember listening to lcc for the first time and following that hypnotic beat every single subtle change not knowing what to expect and then 2:35 comes in, this hell of a trip. I mentally keep the opening beat under the chaos that follows - before the beauty that follows it. Just magic that! Also I find the album art rather 'untilted' [emoji3] very vertical.
  16. Mr. Turner 7/10 This was ok, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Modigliani or better yet Pollock (in biopic terms that is)
  17. The wolf of Wall Street - just a fucking mess/10 Same old rags to riches plot. Too much coke, pills and pussy, just a story summing up man kind really, not happy enough. Always wanting more. Fucking and getting fucked. It was like watching scarface minus the bullets. Oh yeah and too long too.
  18. Nightcrawler: 8.5/10 Good movie, well made I thought; I really invested in gyllenhaal's character. Thought his performance was decent.
  19. Rather awkward when the mother is pleasuring her self and in comes that little weirdo. I thought that kid was hilarious! Baba dook dook dook 5/10
  20. Chévere! yo estoy enamorado por Huaynos!!! que cosa hermosa, and the more recent ones, with all the keyboard drum samples all over it, so idm! Just when i started exploring south american music i listened to "the roots of chicha" compilation and immediately fell in love with Los Shapis! i mean, i love all the other cumbia styles, but the andean one is my favorite atm! Yes! Andean music is something very special indeed! We get some great buskers from Peru here in Australia. We saw this one guy that had a great little setup - doing some really toe-tapping stuff, we just had to buy his CDs right then and there. For me Festejo music impacts me so deeply. Take the cajon, such a simple instrument, but idm as, I feel. Festejo beats are mad! [emoji18]
