  1. 33 songs. 3 hours and 33 minutes…
  2. There was a theory at the time that "On (28 Mix)" was a reference to it being "track 28" from SAWII see also: "33 Saw II Un Stabbing Interview" and "35 Saw II Un Road Shimmer F" anyway my personal "digital listening" copy of SAWII is the full aphexstore 26 tracks, plus: Analogue Bubblebath 3 (from Trance Europe Express) On (28 Mix) Quino-Phec (from Surfing on Sine Waves) 4 Red Calx[slo] and the three tracks from the soundcloud dump that were designated as SAWII outtakes... 33 Saw II Un Stabbing Interview 9 Un Chopped F Beginning [SawII Un] 35 Saw II Un Road Shimmer F
  3. bump for anybody able to rip the vinyl? Noctis (91 mix) and Last Rains (which is sans vocals) as compared to the cd/digital "V mix" would love to have a complete "all versions" for my digital listening... (i don't have the means to rip my vinyl copy to digis) x
  4. Been giving this some regular spins along with the original album. How did I miss this the first time around? Great stuff.
  5. Ex Cure and Siouxsie drummers with Jacknife Lee. A little The Creatures meets LCD Soundsystem. With James Murphy, Bobby Gillespie, The Edge and more. https://www.discogs.com/release/28802419-Lol-Tolhurst-x-Budgie-2-x-Jacknife-Lee-Los-Angeles
  6. Hyped for that Inkipak remix! Everything that cat puts out is fire.
  7. See Also: Flyin Lo-Fi by JP BUCKLE This long out of print Rephlex 90s classic is being made available digitally for the first time through this special Ping-discs re-release, including all new exclusive artwork by JP Buckle not featured on the original. Not only that but there is also a strictly limited edition version of the CD that comes with 3 prints of his art for you to put on display, so a real collectors item! We recommend that you get involved, this is definitely one to snaffle up, indeed we think it's one of the best albums released by Rephlex back in their hey day, and that's really saying something given the pedigree of artists that Aphex Twin was signing to the label back then. It's packed full of absolutely bangin tunes, it really is! All proceeds go to MacMillan Cancer Support via Touched Music. This is a Pingdiscs release, full Pingdiscs catalogue available at the main label site here: pingdiscs.bandcamp.com cat no = p-bumtee-tippl.
  8. Now on Bandcamp: name your price. (apparently it's been out since March, but I'm just seeing...) https://mikeparadinas.bandcamp.com/album/m-for-multiple
  9. Looks like two previously unreleased remixes?
  10. I’m expecting it’s gonna get a bells and whistles deluxe treatment for its anniversary… crossing fingers.
  11. Update. Bleep has now corrected the files in their DL to the correct tracks, since I emailed them about it. (It's been borked since 2021, when the expanded release came out, til yesterday).
  12. Okay, I've figured out the answer my own question... It looks like the track that Bleep has for download labeled "Catatonic (Part 2)" is actually a version of "Butterflies." the only difference I can hear between them, is that Kick drum is "less blunt"/has "no splat"? (not sure the official term for that...) on the mislabled "Catatonic (Part 2)" vs "Butterflies" are these different "versions/mixes" of butterflies? or just different masterings? The Left (8:52) is the Version of Butterflies that was mis-labeled as "Catatonic (Part 2)" (with the Thuddy kick drums) The Right (9:01) is the Album version of Butterflies (With the Thwacky kicks drums) 1-09 _Catatonic (Part 2_)_.mp3 1-13 Butterflies.mp3
  13. I've Been Digging into Kenny Larkin's old Discography, and re-listening to the Expanded Deluxe Metaphor Download I got from Bleep I found: https://bleep.com/release/223481-kenny-larkin-metaphor-expanded-edition A: that the track they have in the DL for "Loop 1.5" is the same as "Loop 2," three tracks later, it should be: https://aboveboardprojects.bandcamp.com/track/loop-15 (The Bleep Webplayer plays the correct track, but their DL file is an *8 second shorter "Loop 2") B: the track they have listed as "Catatonic (Part 2) - 8:52" most definitely is not either "Catatonic (Part 2) - 5:28" that was exclusive to the Original '95 R&S Vinyl Pressing of the Album, nor is it "Catatonic (Second State) - 5:55" as found on the Single and the Above Boards Expanded Release : https://aboveboardprojects.bandcamp.com/album/metaphor-expanded-edition My Question to any Kenny Larkin Superfans: What is the actual track Bleep is selling in their digital download as "Catatonic (Part 2)"? Has anyone heard it before? (The Bleep Webplayer plays "Catatonic (Second State)" It's only their DL that is some mislabeled "mystery track")
  14. https://aleksiperala.bandcamp.com/album/onclements-outtakes https://aleksiperala.bandcamp.com/album/lactavent-outtakes ^These^ ? or are you waiting for outtakes from the 20+/- albums he's been putting out per year lately... is it possible there's outtakes with that kind of prolific output?
  15. Yeah, each "series" tends to be in a similar bpm/"instrument" range/style. That being said, I do wish Aleksi would be more informational about concept/intent/artistic statements regarding each of the series, specifically delineating what he was going for/working with, since all we get are the "cover art" and name of the series to work with (no track titles...) He did state in one interview the difference between various projects at the time being analogue vs digital, but I can't remember now which ones those were... At least, a good number of them are "pay what you will" so I'm not completely out of dosh every month...
  16. Hey y’all. Apparently “9:25” from Global Communication’s 76:14 started life as a remix of a Sun Electric song, that was rejected for release, so Mark and Tom made it it’s own thing. Any Sun Electric fans have a guess at which song it might have been? (Circa ‘93/‘94)…
  17. about that cassette rip... There were many complaints about mono rips of the london/barcelona vinyls... anybody got spectral analysis of this compilation of the two? Stereo? Higher fidelity? recs for which rip of each of the shows' eps is "the one" to have until they (hopefully/likely?) end up on the warpstore as wavs? (in *crosses fingers* expanded edition like the last London show LP was...)
  18. barcelona 2 tracks black box 4 tracks matriarch test 3 Om1 cass 909 edit1 F6 omc 1 short forgotten produk trk omc 1 2nd neotek test trac omc 1 am I missing anything from the last month? (is that blackbox life recorder 20 ambient 760 mix that is floating around legit? or?)
  19. I mean the site has a space under the heading “rephlex releases” or something like that, but it never got populated beyond the tuss and one Analord outtake. : (
  20. Also, while we wait for the new album. Morr Music put out this fab comp of Slowdive Covers by electronica artists (1-14) and some tracks "inspired by Slowdive" (15-28)... some great stuff here. https://morrmusic.bandcamp.com/album/blue-skied-an-clear
