After several listens this still feels really disjointed to me. Some fantastic passages but it's not cohering as an album at all for me.
-
It's puzzling that the same people that made Prism also made this.
-
This wasn't what I was expecting at all. This is practically an ambient album. His trademark skittery beats are nowhere to be found.
Liking it a lot on the first spin.
-
I liked the production on several tracks but find the vocals distracting.
-
Seems a bit more ambient than the last one on the first listen through. Initial impressions are very positive.

Yeah Bandcamp has been great but I feel like we need an alternative. It's become too important to be something sold around like this.

I switched to buying as much as possible from Boomkat and Bleep recently.
I think it’s more important than ever to support small, independent music stores.

I’m seriously considering building a Bandcamp competitor after this announcement.

What else is good by these two?

Me too but looks like he has a big catalog. I’m looking forward to checking it out. Seems like he works in a variety of styles.

Just found this guy due to his new EP on Constellation Tatsu. His work is a cut above in a crowded genre.
-
Ambient dub/techno. Very nicely done. On the reliably interesting Constellation Tatsu label.

This is not a style that I usually go for but this is well done. A lot of details on headphones.
-
Another in an unbroken string of great records from Mary Yalex. Beatless but not quite ambient, with a timeless quality where style is always subject to a larger artistic vision.
-
I liked his Compassion LP quite a bit. Will definitely be giving this at least a few spins.
-
Every track on this is good. I could use a whole album like the last track.

Watched the first season (was ok but didn't bother with the rest) and can confirm there was some really good music on it. I tried to track it all down but hit a brick wall.
Seems to be streaming only for now?

This is really good. Eno has been on a roll lately. Late career second wind.
-
Boomkat described this as Plaid meets Art Bears, which at least gives you a rough idea. Very inventive and unconventional, but still easy to enjoy and with a lot of nice electronic and acoustic sounds.
I think he has a Bitwig grid on his Bandcamp page right?
-
Yeah I like his darker, edgier stuff a lot better.

He can be hit or miss but he really excels at this hard edged dubstep stuff:

Yeah good stuff. Quite a few records in his back catalog worth checking out if you like this one.

Always look forward to new OPN. Not immediately taken by the cover.

Looking forward to this. The first volume was maybe my favorite of his recent work. Seems like he's been quite productive lately.

The previous two in this series were great. I'm up for more.
