  1. I have to say, I'm very relieved by Joyrex's response regarding the excess funds as it was quite ambiguous as to whether all the (rapidly accumulating) kickstarter proceeds would go to the seller. Anyway, I think if I had a windfall of a million or so I would def give 100k to autechre and chris douglas to sort through their stuff and release all of it, so 10 quid is great in that respect (I'm very stupid with my money). Regardless, cheers Joyrex and watmm for engineering aaa and this. As a long time lurker... I've heard about some awesome music from your forums (my reason for lurking)!
  2. Well I'll look forward to seeing you in Dublin next time! Oh and you got me addicted to Je Suis Passe by Hard Corps, I keep looking at the 12" with the instrumental version on discogs. One day! Cheers Rob and Sean, cheers WATMM. Bye!
  3. was it at temple bar? played there a few times, i thought it was alright in soundcheck but that place changes a lot when it's full, so i dunno yeah it kind of grew out of the live set err matthew Well this is my recording from upstairs of the Temple Bar set.. sounds great to me. Sean, Rob.... PLEASE say high to my italian friind Guliamo who is mad for you guys and is "yay" ing all over this recording.... he'd fucking die... In fact can you name his first child? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PK3IL-Pw_w hi guliamo, thanks for shouting all over this bootleg :D Yep, that's the one I was watching when I realised the sound must've been rather good. Nice recording btw. Cheers:)
  4. was it at temple bar? played there a few times, i thought it was alright in soundcheck but that place changes a lot when it's full, so i dunno yeah it kind of grew out of the live set err matthew Yea, Temple Bar Music Centre, now Button Factory. Yea, was at a Clark gig there a few months before you played, the sound was really waek (maybe that was just Clark tho..jk) Must've got a better set up or sound engineer!
  5. Hey Autechre, I posted a pretty long one earlier, wouldn’t blame you if you skipped the whole thing so I’ll make it more succinct (feel a bit cheeky doing this as a new member) : Would you guys consider coming back to Belfast and/or Dublin? (I know it’s not Russia or the southern states but the closer the better!). I saw you here (Belfast) back on the Untilted tour, can’t remember much of it tho but saw you again in London for the Oversteps tour, won’t be forgetting that one, was incredible. Missed you down in Dublin last time and was going to ask how the sound was cos I had been to a show at the same venue a couple of months previous and it was really bad but I’ve just watched a youtube audience recording of it, and from what I can tell, it sounds pretty good, also I can hear tuinorizn towards the end of that set. Was that track something you had developed from the live set for the album or had you been working on it after the ‘main’ tour had finished? Favourite Kool Keith-related record? It's also great to see that my fav musicians are showing no signs of slowing down :) Cheers for the music
  6. Hi Rob and Sean, thank you and watmm for doing this! It’s like a 2013 electronic music version of a Going Live/Live & Kicking phone-in with fewer abs and no audible screaming. Would you guys consider coming back to Belfast and/or Dublin? I saw you here (Belfast) back on the Untilted tour tho I was quite young, very stoned and not overly familiar with your music at the time so you guys prob remember it better than I do. I made the trip over to London for the Oversteps tour – haven’t seen anything better before or since (tho my ex gf left before you came on cos her purse got nicked at the show, any chance of a refund?... ) How was the sound in the Button Factory in Dublin? I had been there a couple of months before you played last time and it was really awful, hopefully they sorted it out. Fol3/4 have consistently been amongst my favourite tracks of yours for a few years now. Really love the stereo effect where it feels like a gale is blowing through one ear and out the other. Fol3 always evokes the image of a mechanical Kraken attacking a ship on a stormy night, I guess the proximity of Tankraken on the playlist may have subconsciously influenced this. And Fol4 is like being in the monster’s dank cavernous layer. Anyway, related q: do you guys ever develop tracks based around imaginary settings or scenarios that a particular sound(s) evokes? Was it a deliberate design choice to have the L-event 12” fit nicely into the Exai case? Either way, pretty nice and loving both records. Favourite Kool Keith-related record? Have you been following Chris Douglas’ recent spate of releases on Icasea, RLR, etc.? Apologies for the essay and density of questions, just thought I’d spit it all out in one post!
