If digit is like 70% there with the Nord G2 work on the live set replication then wouldn’t it make sense to allow him to finish it off?
Does anyone know whether digit is still working on this? If he hasn’t had time to finish it off then perhaps he can share his progress with someone in this thread who has the equipment to finish it?

There is some analysis on the tic tac video by the pilot that chased one (Commander Fravor) on the Rogan podcast. Another pilot that same day who carried out a separate interception caught the video we see in the press:

Sorry for being impatient but is there any news on when the final live set including the G2 may be completed? Appreciate it must be a tricky job but any news on how its going would be appreciated.

Your efforts are deeply appreciated! I have now put your post at the top of the thread. Looking forward to listening to the complete set with the Nord G2 noodlings.Here's a 75% replication of the Echoplex gig, with MD, MM and MPC1K.
Using the previously rendered MD & MM audio takes.
The MPC1K part was reassembled track by track, section by section, using a mix of: accurate positioning based on the bootleg, following Ae's performance notes; and personal interpretation. Only a few regions were lowered in level, otherwise everything left as is level-wise.
Digit has been handed Reaper project files and will do Nord G2 magic :)

Is anyone trying to add Rob's elements (MPC and G2?)
In the LA live recording of the set, what is that melody from around 6-7 min mark? Certainly not from either of the elektrons... it sounds lush. Currently that segment is just a solo drum pattern in the MM/MD recording.

Who here has all of the equipment to be able to replicate the AE LIVE 08 set? Please post your results asap! I cannot cope with short youtube video clips of either the wrong tempo, wrong length of the set or someone only having one of the elektrons rather than both! Thank you!

Big fan of TH too - I actually hope they evolve that sound for the next album in some way. It suits the current political climate.

seen that vid before, what's most terrifying about it is the idea that it might collapse and he'd have no backup or any way out of there. personally I think those sounds at the end were edited in.
I'm thinking about downloading the video, opening the audio track in Audition, and then having a look at specpectrogram to see if there's any difference in the background noise. If there is it should be super easy to spot if it was edited in.

That Nord sample sounds beautiful.
Are you guys going to be putting out a complete live set with no crowd noise? I’d prefer this so we get a ‘studio’ version.
