Love that track, and the 12" it's sat on Oh yeah, that's the split with AFX, totally forgot I had it, will have to give it a blast in his memory The better side of that split IMO.... I agree. Flu-shot was the best track in that game for sure. Much love for LFO and wipeout. Both were important to me as a wee teen and still are. Rest well Mr. Bell.

Even though Windowlicker was supposed to be the 'single' for the then upcoming full-length that turned into Drukqs, strictly speaking you could say that no Aphex Twin full-length was ever accompanied by a videoclip, so I'm not betting on it. But who knows? Didn't Drukqs have the Rubber Johnny promo attached to it?

Sorry about the annoying triple post. The internet just threw up. This had to be circa '98 or '99 maybe 2000 that I am talking about. I think i was in high school. They were real media downloads I believe. So hazy.

Do you remember when Rephlex had a video section on their website? They also had a pretty comprehensive page for each artist on the label. Those were the days. That's where I first saw Psultan and No Rap No Rock...Lektrogirl, you so cool!

Ooh ooh, "My First Aphex." For me it was Girl/Boy on the Amp compilation. That's also where Ni Ten Ichi Ryu got me into dnb...so basically that cd/tv show drastically changed my life. Amp (the show) was also a life changing moment for me. Amp and muchMusic showing Orbital videos in the daytime. Orbital were my true intro to techno music, still love those guys. I remember when Amp changed their format to just showing videos back to back instead of mixing them. Those were the end of days.

Why do we all need him to blow our minds and "move music forward"? In the '90's we were not talking about new Aphex releases in this way. They came out and they were great. This will come out and it will probably also be great. Who needs anymore than that?
