  1. I’m just about to finish Hogwarts Legacy and it seems no one else here has bothered…. No mentions anyway or is that because of, you know, other things??? Is posting about banned? anyway, it’s a really good game and is the first game my girlfriend’s took an interest in, mainly because of the beast care stuff you can do with the vivariums. Having previously disregarded gaming as something I do she now understands the enjoyment you get from it. fwiw I hated the Potter films but liked the look etc - the game has the look so I was interested in looking around the world created. Very good.
  2. Are you on about buying it? It’s free for PS Plus Extra subscribers so you could get it included in there and some extra games if that suited you. You don’t get to keep the Extra games but can play them as long as they are included in the subscription. as Milk says it’s 4K and 60fps so runs smoothly but there is no doubt you are playing an old game. It’s not a remake like demon souls etc. I like Skyrim and wouldn’t have paid again for it had I not got it free.
  3. DJ lol op is not even on this forum anymore
  4. Maybe not a celebrity to everyone but I just heard that Dominic Hawken has passed away. If you watch sonic state then you will know him from that or maybe from an East 17 song. I met him once and was convinced he thought I was someone else how nice he was towards me but he didn’t, he was just simply a really friendly person who happily chatted synth stuff with anyone who shared the same interests. Fly High Mr Wiggly - RIP
  5. ? - we would have all sampled it if Technohead didn’t get there first!! I know Technohead might not be everyone’s cup of tea but they were also Tricky Disco, GTO, Church of Ecstasy etc and were released on Warp & Mokum Records. So respect from me ? RIP Lee I just listened to The Bullfrog by GTO and it’s over 30 years old. Still sounds ace!!
  6. The most logical progression to me is Sean & Rob releasing a series of Max/MSP training videos on Coursera. By the end of the course you will have coded your own patch that will create your own personalised copy of Bull Wallet… Premium subscribers will get a bonus ‘Imodium’ patch that offers next level control of wet fart sounds and the hour long drone creator ‘all (bell)end’.
  7. I haven’t played ER for a while but YouTube often gives the best farming spots for runes if you need to go up a couple of levels to make it easier. if I can finish Elden Ring and get all the endings (I even completed the Melania story with summon help) then anyone can. I did have a few moments where I just laughed manically and put down the pad rather than launching it thru the tv but overall I really enjoyed it. I finished Return to Monkey Island yesterday… ending was a little disappointing but I like the other games and humour etc. Sable is my next fix - style looks great.
  8. When I first saw this I thought it was the new Korg drum machine ? Enjoy mate
  9. I live a mile or so from the Chase so this is gold for me. The other couple of episodes are worth watching too.
  10. Is this your video mate? for the first three minutes or so, it bordered on a bit harsh for me but then the sub level went up and a bit of FM and it all went gooey and lush….nice
  11. https://ibb.co/FgnrvYZ WATMM thinks I’m a biddy fiddler….
  12. I bought a cheap hang drum knock off from Amazon…. Wanted one for ages. Well happy with it ?
  13. Are you aware of what was causing you to shit blood? You managing that?? I have ulcerative colitis and from experience you can’t ignore that - in fact two weeks intensive care in hospital proved it beyond doubt. get it sorted man.
  14. I think it’s because ‘retro’ refers to the years you are mentioning. At that time it was ‘new’ so wouldn’t have been called anything different. People still referenced ‘the good old days’ back then and were probably talking about 30 years prior etc.
  15. Having a go at the FF7 Remake on PS5 - looks great and now they have given an alternative to turn based combat (button mashing hack n slash ??) I might be able to get stuck into the game. I also just finished the Dark Pictures Little Hope. Better than Man of Medan in my opinion but I’m not one for replaying games for different endings, so I guess I’m missing a lot of content. Still enjoyed it though. i also wanted to post on page 808 of this thread ?
  16. It’s not that bad if you wait for sales etc The one offer that expires for black Friday in a few hours you can buy any 6 UAD plugins for £259 (£43.16 each) The big sales happen twice a year, so wait if you really wanted something.
  17. I watched an episode of the bbc musk documentary and lolled that the commie rocket guys flobbed on him ?
  18. I remember trying to play Skate after lots of Tony Hawk…. I’m pretty sure that the triangle button (which put you into a grind on Tony) would bail you in Skate… Serves me right for being a button masher I guess ?
  19. Why is Sean Booth mentioned in the picture bottom right???
  20. Who else felt like Sean was speaking directly to them ?
  21. Kumba’Ye’ my Lord, Kumba’Ye’…. Over a boom bap 808 (the Behringer clone of course) Ye comes in spouting his bullshit…. NFT - (it’s ‘art’ and ‘spiritual’ ???) even with my 25% he will be well on his way back to the $2 billion…. I would then spend some of my cut of the money getting the guy some help he clearly needs. Where’s his friends at??
  22. They need to start making knitted deck savers for analog synths…. Keep them warm and ‘stable’ ?
  23. Thanks for taking the time to reply mate. I had another listen today and unfortunately I stand by my initial findings and can’t say it’s a good mix in my opinion. for example around 45 minutes the sub drowns every thing that much that the other percussion sounds like someone feebly knocking a door - in fact hardly anything can punch thru the low end. To compare I put on the New York set from 2015 and also the quaristice soundboard and they both sounded immense - huge bass but the snares etc crack thru (chenc9 section is fabulous) and the synths are all clearly heard with plenty of depth. The difference between those two and the Helsinki set is night and day to my ears. Whatever though, I didn’t pay for it etc so I’m not complaining. I just found it strange that there seems to be a difference of opinion about it.
