  1. There are Reaktor Blocks of the Turin Machine too.
  2. You have to sign in to bletp
  3. Buy them all individually - it costs a bit more but it's way more idm......
  4. Novation Automap controllers are exactly that. The software 'wraps' the plugin and maps all on screen controls to a knob or button on the device. Many plugins have already been pre mapped so their layouts are usually more logical than when you wrap an unknown plugin. Its piss-easy to remap them though to how it suits you. The higher end Novation controllers have more knobs and sliders etc and all of them can set the resolution and acceleration rates. The Impulse range and the Remote SL range are the Automap ones, the cheaper launchpad ones don't unfortunately. I don't mind mousing in some types of automation but tweaking a filter is just plain weird imo. Sorry for OT
  5. Loving the ones so far people - had a listen to all those posted up and there is some great stuff there. Djeroek's track is ace.
  6. I reckon I'd be up for the odd collab - could we both upload the same track? Also I'm owning up to being a week ahead - my first upload was of a track I did Sunday as I thought the cutoff date for the first submissions was Monday. My studio time is limited to Friday afternoons and Sundays mainly and I already have a routine/process for producing so I'm sticking with that for now. I will stay to the one week only rule though.
  7. Ive listened to Krakow set loads and now im just on Dublin and its very different - some elements overlap obviously but these are both brilliant so far!!!
  8. At the time I got it, the Rode one hadn't been changed to the lightning connection so I went with the Zoom. Its cool how it spins about into different configurations and is also useful when using the phone as a video camera. I would say the Rode is the better product but priced higher. But yeah, for the money the Zoom is great imo.
  9. I've got the Zoom iQ5 mic for iphone as a field recorder. http://www.citymusic.com.sg/webshaper/store/viewProd.asp?pkProductItem=1008 A good budget option if you already have the phone. No line in tho.
  10. Doesn't make the slightest bit of difference - it all goes into the same hole either side of your head.
  11. Definitely, kinda bittersweet to watch it in theaters because you know it'll be a while until you can watch it again... legally Recently rewatched No Country for Old Men with a friend who had never seen it. Brilliant film, one of their best imo and I was picking up on some themes I missed the first few times I saw it I saw Birdman the weekend and agree, really good. Why would you watch that??? Did you not see the other two and realise that cunt Neeson is in it?????
  12. Although as already stated the sounds are nothing revolutionary but the various synth options (machines) are custom designed for creating percussion sounds - they aren't say the typical 2-osc subtractive type affairs you get on lots of synths. The sequencers on the Elektron boxes are where the magic is, specifically the p-locks. I also like that you can make any of the 16 sounds anything you want, so if I want a kit of 10 different kick drums and 6 different claps, I can do it. Brilliant drum mchine imo - Wish I hadn't been quite so tight and got the UW option on mine.
  13. The Evil Within is getting my time here - almost done chapter 6 I think and I've come to the conclusion that it is indeed a Resident Evil game. Can't wait for it to get all racist......
  14. Jerry Sadowitz Frankie Boyle Stuart Lee Doug Stanhope
  15. I love the original Hang Drum's I first heard one being busked with in Amsterdam and homed in on the wonderful tones coming from it. Pity they only sell to hippies
  16. Bugger... What exactly have I been 'keeping' then all these years?????
  17. DJ Blobstrop DJ Twat Nappy DJ Menstral Cut-Master Choccy-Ragdoll
  18. Guardians of the Galaxy. Enjoyed it but realised after that lots of people died...... Hope its not real.
  19. There are lots of really great software reverbs :- Lexicon PCM, UA Plate140, UA EMT250, Valhalla stuff etc etc.
  20. Strymon Big Sky pedal. Not exactly budget but not expensive for such a high quality piece.
  21. I'm not sure if you're serious or a big time laptop thief but I used to use a program/plugin called fx-teleport which allowed you to use other cpu's to power plugins over lan. Worked great to be honest but then I got an i5 system and now I have more than enough power for me. No extra coding required and you get to keep the Kush :)
  22. Thanks! It's just a sequencer, with CV, gate and accent outputs, as well as run/stop and clock pulse inputs and outputs. It has no oscillator, filter, attenuator or envelope generator, you have to hook it up to external ones. We're going for the modular / Unix approach of "do one thing, and do it well." We gave away about 40 business cards last weekend at the meetup the above photo was taken at, and several shops have contacted us, so it looks like our biggest problem might be keeping up with demand, to begin with. The best kind of problem! Nice - I'm looking at probably getting a modular at some point so its cool that lots of cool people are involved. Where was that meet? I noticed your Bandcamp say 'Stoke on Trent' - I'm in Cannock just down the road :)
  23. Is it a synth as well or just a sequencer?? Looks cool, hope it sells well for you.
