  1. Please feel free to make your own artwork with the same template I made for the homepage. You can access the files and instructions on how to get them to work here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UugaI7P0xn6iLV73qAOyIKUHkxDf_174 You'll need Blender 2.8 which is currently in beta. It's free 3d software for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Here are some more samples:
  2. I've got updated template files in the public Google Drive folder with the new and better shading that I used for the Brooklyn poster clones. There's also an instruction jpeg to help walk you through how to get them to work. I've tried to make it as simple and straight forward as possible. Blender 2.8 includes a new rendering engine, so these should take seconds to render. I've also included the watmm collapse template that I used for the homepage, I thought people could make some pretty cool/funny stuff with it. The same instructions apply for that file as well. Here's the link again: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1UugaI7P0xn6iLV73qAOyIKUHkxDf_174 And more previews:
  3. Okay, I've got a couple of renders that mimic the two main versions of the logo floating around. One is as close to the style of the Brooklyn poster as I could get it, the other is the more layered style that you see in some of the promos. The attached thumbnails are only low res previews, so use this link to download the high resolution versions: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1a2GvuEa84F4XpVdgf6m-4oRlrXPXoWQi I won't be able to update the template so people can use these just yet. I had to switch to beta software and one of the versions requires extra steps so I'll have to create a readme with instructions that I don't have time to make right now.
  4. The lighting is definitely off, I did the first one in a hurry and never went back to fix it. They most likely tried to shade the original so that it could easily be applied to multiple images without too much tinkering. Mine is not quite as versatile unfortunately. I'll try to update it as soon as I can, there's a way to get that more layered effect you can see in certain versions like the press release and what was used as a temporary overlay for his entire discography on Bleep. I'm not sure if it's possible in Photoshop to get the textures to stretch like they do but someone more savvy than myself might be able to figure it out. Blender is a free 3d modeling app and it's available for Windows, Mac, and Linux. I figured that would allow almost anyone to easily make their own versions.
  5. Lossless - YES!!! This is so cool! Not sure how far you want to go with it, but pm me if you want custom animations.
  6. Ah yeah, once it's rendered hit f3 to save it. Forgot to mention that!
  7. I really wanted to make a DIY template of the promo artwork for this EP as soon as I saw the first pic from London, so I created one in Blender for people to use. I tried to make it as easy as possible if you don't have experience with a 3d program. Basically all you have to do is download Blender and open my file, then click on the folder icon in the texture tab (it should open automatically on that window) and upload your own square image. Hit f12 to render and save the picture. I'm sure people here could make some pretty funny stuff. Here's the link to download it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13SdxgJX6en0aP4G3uIedvpQiC1jdEMrN/view?usp=sharing In my eyes there's a lot of cool potential for visuals with the logo's style. I tried to illustrate at least one idea with a quick demo: Here's a sample still as well, I hope you all can make some cool stuff:
  8. Just finished a couple of new ones. Thanks for the comments, sloanster. I'm not going to include Richard's soundcloud username in case he changes it again, I'm trying to keep this artwork future-proof. And those 3d masks are stylin'. Love them. As always, grab the hi-res images and everything else here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B93UaJwz6MaNflQ1NVJTYUdQY0EtcjZZX0owRWpWWHp5WWx4ejlzcFB0NEZFWTRDN2lLakk&usp=sharing
  9. I updated my collection of redux vector art to include GAK, Melodies from Mars, Windowlicker, The Tuss, Syro, and CCAI. Based on previous posts I think some people are confused - these images are not meant to be in a grid, I just put them like that in the preview so you can see them all at once (these previews are crappy quality; not meant to be downloaded). Anyways, thanks for the feedback. I freaking love what people are posting on this thread. If I have time I'll try to do another all-inclusive piece. *** TLDR *** Don't download these crappy preview pics. You can get each individual image in high resolution at this link here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B93UaJwz6MaNflQ1NVJTYUdQY0EtcjZZX0owRWpWWHp5WWx4ejlzcFB0NEZFWTRDN2lLakk&usp=sharing
  10. Thanks, guys. For anyone interested, here's a single version with everything included. This is what I was originally going for. I realize it's a little chaotic, I was trying to reflect all that craziness when Mr. James was uploading his tracks. I might try to do a simpler version if I have time. I added three versions to the same link as before, two of which you can see in the low res preview images. Here's the link again just in case: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B93UaJwz6MaNflQ1NVJTYUdQY0EtcjZZX0owRWpWWHp5WWx4ejlzcFB0NEZFWTRDN2lLakk&usp=sharing
  11. I realize I'm a little late but I had an initial idea for artwork that took longer to create than I thought. Since a lot of these tracks sound like outtakes from previous albums I thought I would do kind of minimal redux versions of as much of Richard's discography as I could. This way you could assign the "redux" album art to tracks that sound like they're from a specific era, if that makes sense. I recreated main elements of his album art with vector graphics so they could be high quality and easily scalable. The attached image is just a preview of 9 pieces that I did. Right now there are 24 pictures all together, you can get them here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B93UaJwz6MaNflQ1NVJTYUdQY0EtcjZZX0owRWpWWHp5WWx4ejlzcFB0NEZFWTRDN2lLakk&authuser=0
