  1. Enjoying Cirklon3 more with every listen. It might not be the best track he's ever released but it's a fun and funky tune with some pretty 'lush' parts. Am I right in guessing that all of the tracks on the Cheetah ep are Cheetah instruments only? If that's the case then he's obviously just having fun experimenting with a 'niche' brand of instruments. Just read > "The Cheetah MS800 is considered to be one of the most annoyingly complicated instruments on the planet." Sounds right up RDJ's street... Personally I think he'll continue to do Soundcloud related releases and then drop the odd forward thinking/'groundbreaking' release like Tuss.
  2. The simplicity of the Nathan Fake one is great. Similarly El-B. Garage legend and general cool dude.
  3. I think he'll be back personally. Concur, he had too much fun doing it. Even if it's just re-adding the tracks he uploaded originally (although I think he'll also add new stuff in the future).
  4. Cole Hole is wicked, got that vibe licked. Love that detuned synth sound although never been able to work out where they are from.
  5. Dude, Keppel is a tune. Great work.

Utrecht. Listened to it with my eyes closed before going to sleep and had my first music related 'drug' experience. For at least 20 minutes I was trying to follow this dim white light that was 'just' inside of my vision. The reverb ripple effect near the end of the set is hilariously fucking excellent. Genius.
  7. ye. making HEAPS of music + sitting on it gives good perspective for what's good and what's shit. (or, in afx case, what's good and what's amazing). the soundcloud really shifted my perception on the dudes music. the released albums are all so perfect and finely put together and it really gave this guy the aura of being some music god. the soundcloud kind of shifted that and removed the god status. now he just seems like a guy who's super into making music as much as possible (and happens to make really, really, really, really, really good stuff). so yes. i don't see the point in bringing up the new/old tracks point all the time. sitting on old tracks just means when they are finally released they'll be released in a good and proper context (much prefer something i can put on and listen to as opposed to a mish mash of songs). +1 shows that he's got where he has because of hard work, love for music and not just great talent.
  8. It says there are still 965 comments so he's probably just put all the tracks into private again rather than deleted them.
  9. Leterel. Not sure what year, probably around 2006 I downloaded Tri Repeatae, Chiastic Slide and Confield. As an Aphex fan this was the 1st track I heard that I connected too.
  10. SW19 is a cool tune that for some reason reminds me of the 80's. Ggosouken 12 is well chilled, lush pads :)
  11. It's clear that this sort of music doesn't come from a normal/average mind so to expect him to be normal is pretty stupid. His curiosity in things is what makes his music so great.
  12. I've thought this was the case from the start, although I don't think it matters. He gets new fans, we get new tunes.
  13. Is there any reason that the vote numbers are shown to people before they vote? This information will change people's opinions before they vote.
  14. 1 - Ibiza Spliff 2 - (Water) 3 - Organ Epic 4 - Cottage 3e 5 - 19 ssnb
  15. Great right hand. Kirkland wasn't getting up from that!
