  2. here's a slightly shitty downloadable mp3 of 1 Chink 101, couldn't dload it off of Soundcloud for some reason http://picosong.com/LC8j/
  3. babies don't need no delay knowledge! you learn about delay when your dad has 'the talk' with you in his 1987 toyota corolla. In all seriousness this is really weird though. I want to see how these kids turn out.
  4. The latest Plaid is my secondary bowl of spaghetti. Although it's like one really long strand of delicious spaghetti that I have to eat in its entirety every time I start listening/eating. The meatballs are the 1st and 2nd track. Then it's back to Syro which is a delicious digestible turd, passed through the digestive tract of a man who can turn ordinary food into gold flecked ass manna, because shit is guuuuuuuud
  5. I live in South Africa and I'm still waiting on Syro vinyl due to a sudden postal strike. It was probably a bad time to order about 9 RDJ back-catalogue vinyls off Discogs. Pray for me plz
  6. Single shed tear from Richard's Caustic Window touchedness in a crystal vial, winnable by random ballot? Going for the Chris Cunningham video - please let it be that! :)
  7. I had a glass of Johnnie Walker Red on my desk. After pumping XMAS directly to the base of the glass via non-Sennheiser earbuds the whisky transmogrified into Lagavulin 12 at around 6 minutes or so. A small purple cocktail umbrella rotated slowly in the glass with a chartreuse olive speared on each spoke. I bit one open and the word 'LUSH' appeared in the flesh. Tasted a bit tinny though so binned it. So yeah I guess it works on the molecular level or whatever
  8. Yeah, I definitely get that, makes sense :) I just mean in the sense of it being fresh as compared to other electronic music.. as in what trends or production techniques are being used by other EDM/IDM/ICBM/WMD-type people that for whatever contrived reason sound 'fresher'. i know Richard goes for analogue more ofthen than not. I realize the whole question is relatively stupid as 'freshness' is a subjective thing and kindof meaningless as far as damn good music is involved, but i'm just wondering from what context the average music reviewer is operating from when they call Syro 'not as fresh'.
  9. Can I ask as a complete and utter idiot with regards to EDM, IDM and whatever unhelpful and non-descriptive labels people come up with for electronic music in general, what is considered 'fresh' at the moment and why? as some reviewers seem to be calling this 'good but not exactly fresh'. i don't really have the 13 years of context. (it's not that I really care, syro sounds fresh to my ancient ears, I'm just curious)
  10. guuyyyssss how did we miss this obvious teaser
  11. Proposing below as Syro-themed sidebars
  12. tears welling in my eyes as I listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53fRcbcUYSY
