    could it be that the people asking for innovation arent the same people who are asking for the primavera track? I personally am happy for everything this man gives to us. we should be thankful he's releasing music, i am!

    I could also imagine his putting this on an EP because we already know this sound of him and is keeping the really new stuff for an album, who knows!

    It's a pity this version has some parts cut out in comparison to the live version, but maybe this was one of the tracks Rich was trying something live with like he stated on his bleepstore somewhere. Either way, it's a high quality track and I still enjoy it! Looking up the tracklist every track on the EP is like 5-6 mins long, so this will really be decent I guess, without "sound experiment intermezzos" of 30 secs like on CCAI eg... And the video is amazing. I especially love the fact how track name ("collapse"), what happens musically in the track (the "collapse" in the middle) and what happens in the video (all the visuals "collapsing" down the AFX logo) go so well together. Good job! Another theory: The EP is also in his bleepstore. Maybe he'll add exclusive bonus tracks over time?? Thrilled for this release :-).

    he did much touring without releasing anything, i wouldn't be too sure about this. bleep store probably... would be a nice surprise.

    seven hells... it's true, my two favorite tracks off of this were bound by sound (the melody at the end of Quadraverb) this whole time and I never realized it until after reading your post. hahaha so funny, i realised it just today on my way to work :-D!

    one of the things a hated in traktor after an upgrade was that you MUST have beatgrids so that the delay stay at the same tempo. wasn't like that before (i think it took like an average and based the effect/freeze on that). the effect tempo shifted as it was going. any idea how this can be bypassed? Or maybe they fixed it, haven't opened traktor for months...

    yes i think there are a lot of fx that are not traktor onboard like the extreme timestretching he does from time to time... all i can say for sure is he loves the delay freeze of traktor for transitions :-D

    yeah hope it's no hoax, i liked the sound of the cheetah tracks, should be a nice ep :-)!

    congrats brisbot, this is truely the best compliment one can hope for, seen that on sc :-). i would freak out too if aphex likes and comments my tracks, hehe!
