It never had an official download. i don't do that anymore right now. prefer the files in the quality he uploaded them in :-)

Is what you call the Rome track what I call the Sonar 2011 track? that's the recording I've listened to most I swear somewhere in this thread is a screencap of him confirming a release of that one Yeah that's the one and yes he confirmed way before that he's gonna release it at some point. he never confirmed anything guys, he just said "yes and no" and people were just INTERPRETING how he meant it. it was just wishful thinking of the fans, i guess we all have to wait and hope ...and yes i'm pretty sure now too that it's a squarepusher track (check out warp20 set as mentioned before)

always loved the bradley stryder track he posted yesterday, since i first heard it in the primavera recording :-)

ye. making HEAPS of music + sitting on it gives good perspective for what's good and what's shit. (or, in afx case, what's good and what's amazing). the soundcloud really shifted my perception on the dudes music. the released albums are all so perfect and finely put together and it really gave this guy the aura of being some music god. the soundcloud kind of shifted that and removed the god status. now he just seems like a guy who's super into making music as much as possible (and happens to make really, really, really, really, really good stuff). so yes. i don't see the point in bringing up the new/old tracks point all the time. sitting on old tracks just means when they are finally released they'll be released in a good and proper context (much prefer something i can put on and listen to as opposed to a mish mash of songs). +1 shows that he's got where he has because of hard work, love for music and not just great talent. Had a very similar experience early on. The thing is that I actually like his music that much more now, because besides his official releases still being no less amazing, the SC dump has also given us a small peek into his creative processes. same here, it was great to hear that even aphex started somewhere. hearing all that stuff is so inspiring. not because they are perfect tracks, but because it shows hes done loads of tracks every day, experimenting around, for so many years!

well the last time his comments also vanished and reappeared, so thats not necessarily a proof... anyway who cares, i knew hed return :-)

yeah i think hes self-conscious enough about his music and doesnt give a f*** about people saying "recorded noise isnt a track" or whatever. why should he be bothered? hes the one having success, not the trolls

hum dont know, soundcloud had some issues yesterday too. but i dont think its the end, maybe he just found another solution to publish all that stuff, im sure there will be more of him in the near future!

"more additional" very fucking excited for this I read that as more additional versions of Cheetah, as it was in response to someone saying he dug both Cheetah tracks. Not that I'd be suprised if he got more stuff upcoming though :) thats how i read it too ^^. doesnt matter, great news no matter what :-)
