  1. nah...the vinyls for each session are sold separately as well, so that won't be happening
  2. yeah column thirteen is dope. overall - and i never thought i'd say this - but they really should have edited some of this down. i might make my own mix of it as a shorter release but not sure i care enough. it's a problem for me that they thought eight hours of this music was that fantastic (and i'm a big enough fan that i splurged on the vinyl). weird we never got any interviews or press for this giant eight hour release also. is that a first?
  3. god hates us. autechre is over (all end, plus no interview because sean and rob hate each other because sean wanted to make a nice spotify top 10 album and rob called him a "scab" so their friendship is over) and NTS 1-4 was the most uneven autechre release ever. they can't release another album for eight years because they've exceeded the quota for hours of music released in the U.K. what a fuckday. (hope everyone had fun)
  4. Yeah, this is by far the most uneven release by them for me. I thought NTS2 was solid but I also haven't gone back to it much. There are some stunning tracks, and others I wish were significantly shorter or just not there at all. I would expect this from a quad-quad-quadruple album, I guess.
  5. Seriously. lastrushup and whoever else can go on talking about incorrect bass or look at the waveforms but, no. My ears work. I listen to (and write) a lot of bass-heavy music and if NTS doesn't kick your dick/cunt in with bass then something is wrong. I love the fact that we have different opinions on how the kick drums and general bass levels on these releases is irritating. It's so silly. We've all got different ears, different equipment and different tastes. It's fine. I make a ton of music as well, have a TB of lossless music on my hard drive, and I find it lacking in bass on some son
  6. Nope! And if you look at certain tracks there is less low end at certain frequencies. The first REM album has more bass than some of these songs. I like that my breaking point for the first time with a studio album with AE since 2008 was "the kick drum sound is too quiet and not thicc enough" instead of their jam band for Linux user aesthetic since elseq lol. And I guess the mixes are flat like the Quaristice jams and some of AE LIVE.
  7. lol at everyone who has speakers with a nonlinear frequency spectrelol at everyone with hearing damage in higher frequency range lol at everyone EQing/whatever-ing your setup to accommodate your room, speakers, system, or hearing is not comparable to "man this particular Autechre track I heard for the first time 3 days ago needs more kick drum." They crafted that track to sound exactly as it does.counterpoint: remixing any and all music in minor or major ways is fun and all y'all complaining about this are boringwho was complaining, I was memeing and laughing at y'all goofy asses. hence the

  9. *cough*untilted*cough* hmm ... i'm fine with untilted but i can see what you mean. aenyway, bass boosts for this release it is, i guess
  10. yes i'm sure a band that got started making cut up cassette mixes of other people's songs would disapprove of any hands on approach to their music [emoji849][emoji38] multiple people have commented that the tracks sound flat or are lacking bass. never had that reaction to an autechre release myself before nor did i read it. maybe there's something to it? like they can do no wrong? they're human.
  11. Yeah, this is what I’ve been saying. I don’t like EQ-ing a release though as it feels like I’m messing with some official decisions lol. :D I understand not everything will have big bass (atho gotta admit I’m a sucker for it) but in these instances it seems the tracks could have benefitted greatly from it and it would have been there in the past? If a track is on the more hip hop banger-ey repetitive end especially it seems weird when it’s a bit bass-shy. Well, I do EQ things a little sometimes. But this was an extreme experiment to see if I just wasn't grasping what the song was, but it
  12. i turned up the bass at 64 Hz in iTunes 12 dB for fLh and the bass drum sounded like it was at approximately Exai levels. i'm not sure why they have the bass mixed so low on some of these tracks but it detracts from my enjoyment of some of these tracks.
  13. hello to the new jersey traveler from a new jerseyan
  14. Please tell me you had some kind of algorithm putting that out for you!lol nope. too dumb to make an algorithm (unless you know of any good coding sites for idiots! haven't been able to find any). i almost did the full 120 at a minute each but got bored. thanks for appreciating, hehe. the one track i wish was real is probably "corc casual idle." i'd love an ambient version of the corc melody from LP5.
  15. i was banned last week for trying to post 'hahaha'. according to the script, LAUGHTER is "meaningless." dark present, unspeakable future.
