Virgin Babylon Records, releases September 9, 2023. First album in 7 years and a triple album at that! He's been one of my favorites for the longest time so I wish he was more well known. His "Dream's End Comes True" album was the first electronic album I had ever heard, and it blew my rock-music-only-ears at the time. It's thanks to him that I got to know Aphex Twin because some of his music is heavily influenced by his "RDJ Album" period. it's been on repeat since it leaked and i can't believe how much better it gets the more i listen to it. someone mentioned that it sort of sounds like the older type of dubstep from hyperdub etc and i kind of agree. then the beat gets even crazier in the middle but still in that context, so i think the track sounds really fresh and new, for aphex at least. also going by the comments/rating on youtube or rym, it also seems like the newer more casual aphex fans like this track a lot more than the longtime hardcore fans, so i guess they are more able to take the track in as is. and how do i know they are casuals? just pulled it out of my ass idk. anyway i think this a really great track and a great distinct enough addition to his discography, so hopefully there's more of this type!

i'm calling it. this will be the best 4-track ep he's ever released. t69 + primavera track combo is just too good.

There's a comment on the organ track asking if it's from the "hypothetical Windowlicker LP." Was there going to be a such a thing?
