  1. https://taylordeupree.bandcamp.com/album/sti-ll-2 Probably his most exciting release in a while — 2002's Stil. rearranged and composed and such for acoustic instruments. Thankfully there's still a less-is-more thing here considering the small range of instrumentation (how Temper is pulled off with just clarinets and shaker I don't fucking know).
  2. ^Actually this is important enough to warrant a new topic. one sec
  3. are there any plans to fix the forum redirect landing page on watmm.com? it still leads to an error page and I thought the website was completely dead and gone for three+ weeks because of that
  4. three albums in a year is pretty mental for him (four if you include https://shop.fmav.org/prodotti/carsten-nicolai-parallel-lines-cross-at-infinity/) so many good tracks lol. die untergründigen and sarayaku hidding from the two soundtrack albums were incredible but holy christ, removing infinities, radiation mechanics, and field 1 off of this album are peak music
  5. really great on first listen, super atmospheric ambience throughout all this kind of surprised at some of the dubbier elements that pop in
  6. This is out now, streaming wherever. Still giving it a listen but it's really nice for an ambient soundtrack, like a continuation of Xerrox Volume 4, but more organic in spots.
  7. Forgot to post about this earlier, but this on right now. Hopefully will stay online!
  8. https://aokitakamasa.bandcamp.com/album/sounds-for-runway-show-attachment-vein-fall-winter-2023-2024 https://aokitakamasa.bandcamp.com/album/sounds-for-idvsbl-sbstc A couple new EPs from him this Bandcamp Friday. The IDVSBL one is pretty great :^)
  9. https://noton.info/product/n-058/ Preorders on Noton too.
  10. Five IIRC. Just one more :^). Honestly I'm pretty looking forward to this (and xerrox 5). The sound design on the samples here and on HYbrid 1 are fucking incredible, plus it's nice to hear some more glitchy and noisy bits in his ambient work again. Going off of the cover of this, Kinder der Sonne is actually the soundtrack to a play (Simon Stone's Komplitzen). Some more sounds here on the trailer, whatever's happening in the last minute is neat:
  11. https://noton.info/product/n-058/ Friendship ended with Xerrox, give me whatever the hell this is. 1 Kinder der Sonne (Intro) 4:01 2 Verlauf 3:42 3 Die Undergrundigen 8:17 4 Sehnsuchtsvoll 7:32 5 Ungewissheit im Sinus 6:10 6 Kinder der Sonne (Reprise) 6:30 7 Unwohl 3:01 8 Sehnsuchtsvoll (Reverso) 6:51 9 Ungewiss 6:40 10 Aufstand 5:25 11 Die Undergrundigen (Redux) 4:55 12 Virus 5:01 13 Son 1:09 14 Nie anhaltender Strom 5:54
  12. For shipping at least I guess. It came out on digital (streaming services) this morning and it's really nice.
  13. Forum's rolled back so I may as well shill the album again now that it's out: It's good and probably is best since (or even better than) Dataplex. Like I think this is his most playful work, lol.
  14. Samples are up here at: https://www.soundohm.com/product/subterraneans-12-1
  15. Can only find a Juno listing for now, but holy shit WHAT? https://www.juno.co.uk/products/alva-noto-martin-l-gore-william-subterraneans/911325-01/ Limited edition 12" to be released on Noton on 16. December. Will post on here again once more news about this shows up, since there's nothing on the Noton shop yet.
  16. New single, "ultratronics 15" now available wherever's most convenient here: https://idol-io.link/ultratronics15 It's pretty good. Haven't had much new ambient Ikeda like this in years. You can also get a shirt with the album name on it for some reason.https://codexedition.com/products/ultratronics_t-shirt
  17. According to his website, yeah, and really early on in the Superposition project too. Which explains why a variation of Supercodex 19 appears at the very end of Superposition performance and CD then.
  18. In the meantime I do recommend checking out his Superposition album from last year, which seems to have been fairly overlooked. It's probably one of my favorite albums of his; has a good blend of all of his styles, including some inspiration from minimalism (and a track from Supercodex for some reason).
  19. https://noton.info/product/n-055/ https://boomkat.com/products/summvs-remaster And finally, Summvs. Out on 28th October, with two bonus tracks: "Monomom" (released last year) and "Kizuna" (released recently). (Oddly enough, if you add up all the bonus tracks together from the five album remasters, you get about 44:44 of bonus tracks. That's longer than Insen!)
  20. https://noton.info/product/n_003/ (cd) https://codexedition.com/products/ultratronics (jp edition) New 16-track album from Ryoji Ikeda comes out on December 2nd, released on Noton. Pretty excited for this :^) First single "ultratronics 01" available at wherever's most convenient here: https://idol-io.link/ultratronics_01
