  2. A YouTube deep cuts we will add to. Again thanks for checking this stuff out. We just fans! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The live show has gotten to almost complete perfection in the last few years. So tight. So confident. As beautiful as the records but louder and more intense and in your face. For those new to Low, Secret Name is the first album I listened to and was just blown the fuck away. I celebrate the bands entire catalog at this point. But Double Negative was the Low album I was waiting for. Dirty and intense and different like Drums and Guns felt, but dark and harsh like Secret Name and Curtain Hits The Cast. 1000 Stars. Tempest is my current favorite track. It has everything. That volume level is my shit.
  4. mixcloud went mute on me. here is the soundcloud upload.
  5. I did all the track mixing from my phone. First time I have ever mixed trax live. Made some mistakes for sure, but everything was off the cuff. Thanks for tuning in if you did. We had fun. Here is the mixcloud link. Our facebook got cut short before the last two trax could finish out. But they are in the mixcloud version. Hope you enjoy.

  11. pthex is my fav. I hate when people say “it’s a grower”.... it’s a grower. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I see the Field Day track have been identified? But where was the primavera track identified as possibly appearing on the Collapse EP?
  13. i think i know what you mean, that feeling was there on syro a bit. xmas_evet and marchrom have that classic afx vibe more than anything else for me, in terms of recent releases at least. it's coming in full force on collapse though for sure I remember flipping out at Day For Night when T69 was played in the rain. I had no idea what was going on. Figured it was an aphex track, but had no real idea. It was just chaos and yet obviously totally controlled. The video component, seeing all the stuff I saw on those big stage screens kind of culled together, and added to with extreme intensity for a flattened out version, with a specific vision; just blew me away. guess I should be on the video thread. But this was more about hearing the song for the first time and feeling totally fucking fulfilled upon viewing the video. And sort of feeling the same way about it having that mind fuck element I really love about past work. To me this track is like hearing Bucephalus Bouncing Ball for the first time. It just kind stopped me dead in my trax. This has a similar syncopation style and rhythmic structure in the break down and is quite astonishing to hear upon multiple listens in a row.
  14. That was the pastebin link I posted a couple of days ago up there ^ ^ Jesus. Sorry man. Totally missed this. lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Found this. Do not see an airdate for Girl/Boy Song video but I know it was on the comp. https://web.archive.org/web/20130626041130/http://my.execpc.com/~danperry/mus/amp.html#100 I suppose it is possible that I was listening to the orange cd and possibly watching AMP with the sound down. But I just don't remember it that way. Anyway. Weird. It would have been the first time I heard Aphex Twin so it seems crazy I have remembered something so vividly for so long, incorrectly, but not impossible obviously.
  16. Do not think so, but this is awesome. Oddly enough the Collapse video is more like what I remember. That constant spattering of color. Just not jacked up on 21st century visual effects steroids like Collapse obviously. So similar to all of these. But yeah. I think I will have to track down actual live tv home movie tapes from around 96 to find it.
  17. Thanks for posting this. But it is not the one no. It would have been made in the 90s. MTV could have very well thrown some random imagery together. I remember it having lots of line art that kind of turned into fractal chaos. Lots of colors on white background. Almost like Radiohead's OK Computer cover art mutating into different illustrations or something. It did not look like a typical aphex twin video. But I had never seen/heard typical aphex twin. I just remember seeing and hearing it for the first time and it getting stuck in my head for weeks. Conversely there is also this : Makes me feel a little less crazy. I know they featured the song on this mix because it was in video rotation on the show. But it must have been built by someone at MTV and forgotten about/never really blessed by WARP/Richard? I never saw it anywhere else. I think I saw it on AMP only once or twice. I wish I had more information to give for hunting it down.
  18. Does anyone here remember seeing a video for Girl/Boy song on MTV Amp in ‘96? I feel like it was the first thing I saw and heard by Aphex Twin but I can’t find any trace of the videos existence online. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Didn’t mean to post thread twice. Taptalk gave me an error on original post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks! Working in Gadget on my phone and ipad.
  20. Stuff that I hope sounds ok now and later. Definitely a lot of discovery in this batch of work. Hope to make some more controlled chaos deliverables soon. Let me know what you think! https://soundcloud.com/xizyzi/sets/sketch-book Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
