  1. This one went under the radar for me. Started checking it out yesterday and Thunders was great.
  2. Hyped to hear Trackermatte is still alive and looking forward to these new EPs mang.
  3. The Obsidian Floyd of the black metal scene. Love how much variety these guys seem to have in their sound and they do a good job of building the atmosphere and intensity.
  4. First introduced to Rolando's music when I came across 'Sisters on the Shore' on soundcloud and had that oh shit moment. He has provided many more since then.
  5. Odd contrast of mellow music and darker concept on this one: "I contacted Martin (All India Radio) on Twitter this week and asked if he would mind if I released this for the Quarantine Project and he agreed, so I made a quick video for it and I hope you like it. the term ‘Call Of The Void’ was one that I heard referring to that sensation when your driving beside a cliff and have a strange fear that at any moment you may just hurl yourself over."
  6. Agreed. Love the art and colors on those. Favorite EPs I would say are 1. Yuo're Life 2. Walk On Strawberies and 3. Rolando Simmons EP. Highly recommend picking up volumes though, as it is 4 very early EPs combined in one and features a really good variety of cool ass music. Great tracks on all releases though imo. Choose your own adventure!
  7. Posted on Facebook: "All current releases on my bandcamp page (except World Building) are name-your-priced until further notice.Thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe!" If you haven't heard him yet you may be able to ride the 'rona out w/Rolando https://rolandosimmons.bandcamp.com
  8. Looks like Dev set up a twitch account for the Quarantine Project and is live streaming some songs he is making in the process. Well, Today it looks like the 'rona finally got to him (psychologically at least, physically all indications are that he's still asymptomatic). Mega Deconstruction/SYL vibes afoot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gSLJP17iYo
  9. I thought he did in past after reading a past interview, but maybe not. He's definitely on that song though. As far as mixing goes I feel like Dev does a great job but with so much going on things are gonna get cut. One thing I REALLY wish his music had every once in a while that seems to be completely lacking is some damn bass. Off the top of my head I can't think of any songs that build with bass or have prominent bass lines throughout the song. It's completely buried. Obviously a live performance would allow for things like the drums and bass to breathe more which is why it sucks I won
  10. trying to beach bro it up in Puerto Vallarta, MX back when you could actually travel the world.
  11. Inspiring obviously (should probably at least be in consideration for SOTY), but also depressing considering how I have both of these fucking things and suck oh so incredibly bad
  12. Just noticed the cover art says there is a track called "uploaded for a friend" that isn't included in bleep's track listing.
  13. more of clone than anything, but a good one for sure. Fun band and have been digging their latest releases even more so than the earlier stuff
  14. Spiral has been struggling with Richard's success, adulation, and just overall existence for years now. Take anything he says with a massive, cavernous salt mine's worth of salt
  15. Last night's episode was the best of the season thus far. The last 2/3rds had some really good acting
  16. Wrapped up true detective season 3 a few days ago and really enjoyed it. So much so that I actually kinda want to give season 2 a second chance. Would that be a mistake? I think I bailed after like 4 episodes.
