He saw Andre putting out that flute album as a green light to release a (probably anti-Semitic) black metal album

Damn dude well done! And yeah, like everyone else has mentioned you definitely sound very Kurt-like. I’m sure if you had the stomach ulcers like him you’d probably have boosted your Kurtness from 90 to 97%

Really hope this gets more seasons, it was great. Don’t trust Max at all.
Loved the show and they better not fuck this up but unless something has changed (besides the stupid MAX name) HBO has had a really great track record imo. Although I guess animation hasn’t really been their thing and that Velma series seemed to get panned hard for being a cynically woke disaster apparently. I think they’ll renew it based on reception.

Tried to watch the killer and it just bored the shit out of me. When it got to the comically bad fight scene in the house with the dog I completely checked out. Also it had some of the worst internal monologues I’ve ever heard. Good acting and everything and I’m not saying it’s absolute tripe but it kinda fucking is in that it’s painfully average and telegraphed in the worst way possible.
RRR
never watched a full-blown Bollywood movie like this before and holy shit, what an introduction to the genre. I can’t think of the last time anything had me cheesing like this. This is the triple-distilled, highest concentration Bro film I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s a miracle these guys weren’t pounding each other in the ass at multiple points throughout the film in 5000 FPS slow motion sequences. Just incredibly over-the-top, hyper violent with a very strangely naïve and innocent charm to it. It really felt like a 3rd grader wrote a fucking saga and acted it out with action figures before some bollywood execs who wound up greenlighting it. They went all-in and I respect the shit out of them for it. The CGI was better than anticipated, I love the way a lot of the shots were framed, the sets all looked cool as hell and it just had this weird, vibrant, phantasmagoric quality to its world. The acting, story, and somehow the pacing was great (3 hrs and I was engaged the whole damn time) but it was the dancing and singing sequences being fucking fire which was the strangest thing to come to grips with personally . So happy someone recommended this shit to me. Most entertaining film I’ve seen in quite some time.

Was surprised to see an email from the VA (Veterans Affairs) informing me that they are potentially offering MDMA therapy for Vets with PTSD (which fortunately isn’t something I have). Just wild to see even the armed forces considering such things.

2023 AOTY
anything Abysmal Spectre touches really. Dude crafts the greatest artisanal cheese I’ve heard in ages but his side project Curt’an Wall’s Siege Ubsessed (which is way bigger in scope and production than any of his Old Nick releases) may be his best yet.
Although Ghost O’Clock is pretty fucking devastating in it’s own right!

Also major respect to André for still being the uncompromising, gonna do whatever the fuck he wants to do type of dude for putting out an album in a genre that’s probably top 5 least lucrative.

Only heard the first track so far and although it is very much normally not my type of thing, it may have come at the perfect time with all the personal and global stressors pervading everyday life. Gonna give it the full listen when I get a chance to get out in nature.

^tried Curb a couple of times but couldn't get through an episode. something about it just felt off, idk. seen some funny clips from it tho so i know there's some gold in there, especially with as stellar of a cast as they have
My cousin tried too and the reason he couldn’t finish watching any episodes was “I can’t handle looking at this guy’s face”

Just watched the last episode of scavengers reign. Beautifully done. I hope they get renewed for another season
That was an incredible end to the season, let’s hope we get like 9 more. From what I see whenever I’m on the HBO max app it’s always in the top 5 for ‘popular now’ or whatever, which seems very encouraging. I never would have imagined an adult animation sci-fi series like this would be so well received but I’m very content being wrong in this case.
