  3. A song by Rick James (RIP) about the unfolding Rick James Soundcloud phenomenon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZ1Aid4e-EA Richard D. Jams™
  4. somebody please PM the shit out of me seriously edit: sorry just catching up on the thread, this means Richard admitted he was Steinvord... right? Thought this was joke
  5. Warp just tweeted how CCAIpt2 was #4 on the Dance/Electronic Billboard Chart. They're also following this account on SC as well. I don't think they're too mad about what's happening here. Then again I'm not on the inside so this is all speculation. Is Warp really the big bad record label in this situation? Actually, scratch that. Don't give a shit. free Aphex acid
  6. I'm calling it a night, this is just overwhelming. Good night.
  7. th1 sounds real eerie, almost as if it were reversed. +1
  8. haha from Louie Yup. Don't think Jack Dahl would tell Richard to work on his speed, however.
  9. I'm sayin' Perhaps there is more trickery afoot than initially suspected.
  10. Some nice work in here people. Settled on the bright orange soundcloud mashup. Seemed appropriate given the vibrant chartreuse that accompanied Syro.
  11. Will probably be burned alive at the stake for this kind of heresy, but I can see where the folks over at rare afx are coming from. I checked my skepticism at the door some time ago but I still get the feeling that some of these tracks don't sound like any of Richard's previous work at all. I know he is incredibly versatile and is one of the only artists who could undergo such transformation, but damn. There are quite a few previously unexplored avenues of sound being displayed here. At times I wonder, at the very least, if some of this material was the result of collaboration. If not the work of someone else entirely (shots fired?). Regardless of my suspicions we're definitely awash in a sea of undiluted AFX acid here, and this will indeed go down in the annals of IDM history as the most baller move of all time. Long Live the King.
  12. When and if ever the smoke clears and this pandemonium eventually comes to an end I'll still be there F5ing the shit out of user48736353001's soundcloud account
  13. Yeah, as far as I know this is unprecedented. I've heard of other artists doing something akin to this, but on this scale? Not even close. To quote someone from here whose name I can't recall (maybe you?) "This is the most baller move by an artist ever"
  14. ^Video is down. What was it supposed to be?
