  1. Think it was an acrylic box for Syro, the metal one was Ae's Quaristice
  2. Curious as to how blemp thought 95 quid (+p&p) was an even remotely sensible price.
  3. Bleep now has it with a whopping 50 pence reduction over that site for the CD box set - https://bleep.com/release/101949-orbital-orbital
  4. Not quite sure how any of them are of a sale price. Looks more like Warp has gone: 'here are some things that we are promoting in January that you can buy from us'
  5. They've done an Ableton 12 demo set for the new beta released a couple of days ago which normally is created close to release so I'm thinking the full release might be early next month (maybe?!)
  6. If they can make a box set of the boxsets that costs about 20 squids then I'm in
  7. Thinking CD2 might be just the bonus CD with the Aus release i.e.: 2-1 Lush (Euro-Tunnel Disaster '94) 6:48 2-2 Walk About 7:47 2-3 Semi Detached 8:10 2-4 Attached 7:06
  8. Is Burial just for people on social media sites to say they've bought something by Burial ?
  9. I think you're right ..... it seems to fall apart as it goes on !
  10. Thanks - Wouldn't call it bitching, they do seem to delve deep into it and try and grab positives from it The logo/art of the GONK needs fixing though .... the vertical dash on the far left needs to be the length of the left of the K
  11. For sure, with the Intro version you can have up to 16 simultaneous tracks with 16 scenes.... For starting off that limit is more than capable at putting together a full track or mix Here's a comparison between the Intro, Standard and Suite releases - https://www.ableton.com/en/live/compare-editions/
  12. previews sound like what chat gpt would generate if you asked for new burial songs
  13. I'm guessing that's the reason behind the 'boot' part of the title (ps talking of FM remixes do you know if Brian or Gary ever did hear the Elysian Feels remixes that were supposedly forwarded on to them from the magazine ?!?)
  14. I normally go by the release notes ( https://www.ableton.com/en/release-notes/live-12-beta/ ) - the smaller the bugfix list the closer it is to arrival. At the moment the list is still quite long so I think we're still about a month or three off the final build
  15. Aye I wish I had a P3, even though I've got a v2 fully working (and now fully isopropyl alcohol rub downed after the horrible plastic/rubber decomposition) I lust for the MPE, big chonky jog wheel and the power of using it standalone.
  16. That's superb - Was trying to look for where to get it and how much it'd cost and didn't realise it's gonna be included with A12 ....
  17. Definitely not the case here - £539 if I grabbed v12 Suite new but £143 for my v11 to v12 crossgrade
  18. They're definitely on the more experimental side than other releases/aliases - Lots of mid 80s tape experiments with grungy lofi synth & drum machine work and/or field recordings. I like the 3 albums but they're definitely not for everyone ! Think Coil, Zoviet France, early Hafler Trio type stuff.
  19. Ordered it as a poor student whilst filled with fizzy pop then sent a cancellation request the next morning when my head cleared ... they never read the cancellation though so ended up getting the binder and therefore 'had' to get all the other volumes including the picture disk Yeah that price seems to ring a bell for me too
  20. 56 squids (plus god knows what in p&p) - Is it pressed on diamond or summit ?!
  21. Have had this one sitting on the floor for the past 10+ years doing its pre-amp duties with no-fuss. Was £60 ($76) but I'm not sure if they're being produced any more ... https://www.techradar.com/reviews/audio-visual/hi-fi-and-audio/hi-fi-accessories/cambridge-audio-azur-640p-258118/review
