  1. u ok hun ? Are you talking about me unpinning the mega link ? There's literally nowt in it anymore - https://mega.nz/folder/HMcAgABI#TXaiAlHSGTno2ki_TuoJPQ
  2. Didn't he get into modular stuff, maybe he's got caught up in all the wires Tetsuo style ?
  3. Woah really, I thought it was meant to be that fancy pants foldout thing and why it cost mega-bucks for just 14 minutes of digital vinals?
  4. I don't think any of us are saying it's necessarily a bad thing, just that it's not something worthy of 'losing/loosing our shit' about and don't really see it as 'brutal af'.
  5. Yeah definitely reminded me of Winamp type visualisations too, that or those 4/8/64 kilobyte demoscene thingamies:
  6. Yeah I'm wondering if it got mastered onto [cassette maybe?] tape for full on old-skool sound vibes ? Or recorded deliberately 'hot' for the end crunch and hiss
  7. Is it my ears/headphones going wonky or is there some clipping/saturation near the end of the title track (from around 3:50 till around 4:20 - more noticeable on the 'Aphex Mastered' version (track 5)) ? Perhaps it's just resonating with my headphone .... whateveryoucallit ... speakers ?
  8. Not just Spizzle finding it a bit ... whatevs -
  9. Even though this thread has existed for 6 years, every time it's bumped to the top (and so appears in the headline section of General) I keep thinking it's news about a third volume of this coming out: Blamp pls xxx p.s Absolutely wild to see the progress of ai image generation contained within this thread. This is where we were back in page 2:
  10. Unpinned as it looks like 99% of the stuff is now deleted
  11. Yeah definitely the last two tracks on there are a bit of an anomaly compared to the rest, especially the last one (or kinda two as there's that 10 second gap after 2m45) - As you say they definitely sound more Environment-y (or From The Archive-y) than Humanoid-y
  12. That's, woah - Just looked it up and it was released back in 2006 so really surprised no-one seems to have mentioned it in the past 17 years !
  13. A possible (me just speculating based on the trailer music) Humanoid remix of JNSN CODE GL16 out this Friday. Something from the Or-Ticker-Tape sisters anyways -
  14. Ah really, dang I had no idea that was the case. I assumed it was exactly how you had wanted it to be where pattern launching was mapped to midi notes!
  15. Have you looked into using Redux with Ableton ? My tracker -> live workflow (from Buzz -> Ableton) was to export loops of the patterns and save them as wavs. Then stick all the drum patterns in one Ableton track, synths in another, sfx in another and arrange them in a sort of chronological order of the set in the scene view. That way you could have sections of the track playing as long as you like, introduce bits from other tracks into the existing one and just have a play on the day. I also had two 'live' tracks with a VSTi on each of them for live jammin' I then had an effects chain on the master channel with each effect mapped to a midi device for some global shenanigans
  16. Wonder if he's still doing music stuff or has moved onto other projects - Don't think he's released anything for about 10 years now right ?
  17. It's like they tried to recreate the idea of Let Forever Be, but didn't know how to do any of the Gondry wizardry
  18. You can just enter anything there and the next page (when you press 'Continue') should be your download links ? (ps it's not made clear but Pulsar (not sure about the others) is a vst3)
  19. All of Recluse Audio's plugins are now (at time of writing anyway!) free - https://recluse-audio.com/
  20. Woah, that's great work - Well done man ?
  21. Yeah absolutely, great he's trying such a different styles and track durations in these pieces. As much as I adore his lovely-longform-gassy-ambient clouds (and I really do!) sometimes your ears want something less amorphous to focus on ?
  22. A little different ? - This is like a hardcore gabber noise album in comparison to his previous releases ?
  23. Yeah agreed - continuing the galaxy analogy I feel a majority of the subgenres have now collapsed in on themselves and become a big musical black hole of ideas all mushed together
  24. Needed to be a star chart a bit like this - http://music.ishkur.com/
