  1. it's still not clear to me if they record on a single file (therefore ready for mastering but no longer mixable) or if they have the possibility of recording on separate tracks, with the automations open (in this case the work would be much longer, but they could intervene on the mix, correcting where necessary - for example removing the presumably mic feedback of the Greek date).

As for the set, for me it was beyond any possible expectation. I don't go back to the helsinki file too often because it's of such a density that I can't hear it while I'm doing anything else, but when I'm able to face it, it's a monster that seems to have more faces than I can see

i don't think i've seen anyone mention bookworms in here but a lot of his stuff is on the twisted dance beat vibes that AE have always played in. this most recent one reminds me of Quaristice in some attitude and ideas. a lot of the recent bookworms recent stuff seems to be largely unedited jams so maybe that's part of the comparison, but i mention it also because it sounds quite raw at times, so be warned that the volume/etc is messy and there may be some clipping. anyway, well worth any rough edges to dive into this one and the others imo.

among the many things that bookworms has published,  I particularly liked those 2:

  4. coincidentally just last night I tried to download onesix (Dublin) because the files are saved in a HD that I don't have at hand. Nothing to do, they are not available. So, even though I bought them, I had to download from soulseek. lol.

I reckon (pure conjecture here) that they will release some European tour sets similar to Helsinki before any more touring, and use the 2nd London set material as the basis for a future (North America/Japan/elsewhere?) tour. Although I think some sections from near the start of that set popped up on some bootlegs, the bulk did not, and I get the impression that most of the European tour was based around the same material as Helsinki. Which leads me to believe they are saving the material from the 2nd London set for something else.

If I'm right I won't get to relive the 2nd London set anytime soon ?. I really hope I do get to hear that soundboard someday though, it was a real treat.

personally I have the impression that the 2nd London was a thing in itself: having so much material ready, they decided to do a different thing for the second show, with something more "dub", without this necessarily indicating the direction of future dates. The bootleg reveals something less "abstract" than their trajectory (assuming they have one): we'll see if I'm wrong, but I suspect that what comes in the future will be even more alien than we've had so far, while the second date of London will remain as a unicum (which will still be published, I hope)... well, let's see

  6. even the 14/15 set had big changes: the last ones summarized the original part in 20 minutes, and then expanded in new directions, yet the soundboards came out only when all the material was archived. This makes me think that the same thing will happen with the current set: they will do new dates, with a lot of news, but there will always be a point of contact with the 2022 dates, and the soundboards will be released when they decide to work on a completely new set. However, the Helsinki file has created a historical precedent, and in the wake of this accidental fact, they may come to publish the other dates without the "publish only archived material" orthodoxy

  7. the Ita state TV (RAI) has a program that, every day, recalls the historical events of the current date, in the course of history. Yesterday (March 24), among other events, was the date of the coup d'état in Argentina in 1976. When the narration became more specific (and tragic), on the name of Videla and the numbers of those who disappeared, the notes of  Altibzz raise

Did you order them from Bleep ?? I thought taxes post-Brexit for a shipment from UK to EU were cheaper !

...ordered from ae_store, which I assume is in the UK as well... this is the first time I've had this tax blast. In previous orders, given the waiting times (the package were sent regularly, the delay was all borne by the post office; I wonder, then, what they made of Descent) they did not have the guts to add taxes... but they left the package in the garden. Under the rain. :ok:

  9. The package finally arrived: the reprints are impeccable, and the shirts are also cool (plus good quality), especially confield, even if it has a classic design.

Less impeccable shipping costs. For the €25 shipment with acknowledgment of receipt, another €34 in taxes.
I'm not particularly lucky with shipping. No. Lp5/chiastic took more than 5 months to arrive, so I thought they were lost in the transition. Exm (descent) never arrived. And now the news of taxes.

unlike the other thread this one is very specific... I don't know what to list (I would have to look outside the limits of electronics... I now find out that Plotkin recently opened a yt channel: from time to time he uploads drafts with modular stuff (Buchla).
