I thought this was a new thread until I came across my own comment from fourteen years ago. Thanks for making me feel old.

Well guess we'll see you again in 2034. See how you'll feel then ?

  2. He was asked on SC to put up all the unreleased tracks he played live the last couple of years, and aswered this:

they all mostly exist inside my live rig at the moment bar a few rough mixes, yeah I will try and get in the zone and bounce em

it's high up on my list.

those have all evolved quite a bit since then aswell

@trenched: I have nice stories about them at gigs, here's one, My M&D drove to a gig of mine in Bristol [Thekla], stopped on the way to ask 2 lads if they knew the way, they said, 'yeah were going there', so my dad said 'oh get in, we'll give you a lift' [he used to give hitchhikers lifts a lot anyway] and when the lads were in the backseat, they saw the AFX logo my mum had put on the dashboard, my mum said they looked confused, like why two old people would have that in their car, so they asked 'sorry, but why do you you have that logo? ', my mum said 'because he's our son!', 'Son!' they replied 'he's our god!' my dad used to love to tell that story..

Maybe because Time Tourist is experiencing a similar chain of events he felt the need to say something, possibly an emotional reaction, so don't be too critical.

I can see why such a topic would be deleted though.

There was certainly that aspect to the reason of the post, but also the fact that other people were just focusing on the other part of the message and nobody even mentioned the fact about his father. Found that very strange for a forum that has been supporting the artist for years and years. But I must admit I didn't know there was a same post that had been removed. In my experience, when losing someone close to you it hurts more when people don't talk about it then when people do, even if it is just a few words on a forum. The last thing you want is people just skidding over it.

good find. bears resemblance to XM.

but it was uploaded to YT before XM was uploaded to SC. also within a few days of

Can't see those Spanishguy tracks anymore sadly. but yeah, it does sound like the XM one. The one on youtube sounds more polished in a way though...

  6. I just want to offer my sincere condolences to Richard for losing his dad. Aside of anything else he posted which you may or may not agree with, losing a family member is tough.

My own father is going through a battle against lung cancer and can't imagine the pain of losing him, even though I know sooner or later I will have to face it.

So, Richard hope you are okay and wish you all the best and thanks again for all your great music!
