Based on this review, the IDM scene, with the exception of autechre is now called a "Dad Rock" scene for aged ravers. https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/mu-ziq-magic-pony-ride/ My proposal is now: We could stick with the term IDM, but just change the meaning to "Intelligent Dad Music". Any thoughts on that?
