  1. this virus is some weird shit. just heard an NPR interview with a woman who had covid. took 9 months after testing negative for her headaches and stomach issues to go away. her young son also had covid and was asymptomatic. Then one day watching TV one of his aadult front teeth fell out without blood or pain. apparently due to undetected vascular damage from covid. after googling i found more reports of this and other types of dental problems. https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/their-teeth-fell-out-was-it-another-covid-19-consequence-2/
  2. Is that Luke Vibert? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. apparently dude was really depressed and made a spectacle of his suicide. 'private reasons' seems most likely for the explosion. i'm sure more details will come.
  4. she's looking straight down. that guy's dong must be touching the ground. @toaoaoad regarding blenders.. the one i was gifted is a "breville boss on the go" and goes for around $150. more than i'd ever spend on a blender. but now that i've used it for a couple years i'd probably spend that much because other than the leaky thing it's really good for smoothies. i use it pretty much every day. it's not a traditional blender. it liquifies things. the leak issue only happens after lot's of use and only if i routinely over pack the thing so that when i screw the thing together there's lot's of pressure on the blade assembly making it loosen up over time. my ex had a "ninja" blender which was really good and much bigger w/bigger mechanism w/the blades etc. it was also good. other FWP.. this other track that i was done and ready to finish up the mix now sounds like i need to redo all the drums because they aren't making sense anymore.

  6. speaking the true true. the blender i have i got as a gift a few years ago. it's mostly really good.. but the blade spinner thing leaks after a while at the seal where the spinner/gear thing is. so after a while it gets really messy. i have a new assembly thing on order right now actually. is there no solid fucking steal blender? what do the "only buy once" people do for a blender.. those people who buy the shoes that last 10 years or whatever.. fwp: spent the last 2 days editing down an hour long modular jam and arranging it and now that i isten to it on speakers it might be annoying dumb shit but tomorrow will reveal the truth because my ears are tired and all is dumb. this happens half the time... or more depending on who i ask ?
  7. depending on brand you can buy replacement parts. i've replaced the blade assembly on my blender 3 times i think. for example: https://www.breville.com/us/en/products/blenders/parts-accessories.html
  8. not sure which is longer.. https://www.gutenberg.org/files/2600/2600-h/2600-h.htm srsly though i read a chunk of that 'granular election analysis' and it's good.. skimmed a lot of it too.
  9. oh true.. i forgot about jams w/a friend who loves acid techno.. we some dance-ish tunes way back. all live jams too which was fun. live jamming in a techno rule set is pretty dope. free download btw. https://buriedintimecompilations.bandcamp.com/album/dica
  10. oof. wait at least 5 days after possible exposure before getting tested unless you develop symptoms.. then get tested right away. some people report symptoms began 10 days after exposure according to contact tracing.
  11. it's still Clown Core. guys.. sorry.
  12. brought back the entire succulent chinese meal in my head. win.
  13. Unity over Policy. unless there is a progressive whisperer in his cabinet somewhere or someone reminds him of the lessons of "you go low we go high" he'll not get anything done.. even if by some miracle both georgia senate seats go to democrats. if that happens then the dems in congress who are gung ho about anything are going to have put a lot of pressure on him and someone is going to have to make really good arguments for seizing the day and using the majority they have instead of relying on some "old boy's (old man's) club" rule of fairness and decorum that the republicans haven't taken part in in 30 years so why bother. progressives and many rank and file dems and people of color will hold him accountable. he's not going to get a pass because he isn't trump. that got him the election but it isn't going to get him praise.
  14. sent a care package w/some buried in time releases to someone in berlin. mailed it out october 16th. the most recent tracking update is november 17th as it departed Beirut, Lebanon. i have enough leftover promo/unsold vinyl copies of some of the releases that i've thought about doing a big mail out to various record shops marking the releases as promo and providing contact into. they're old though so kind of missed the boat. plus covid.. who the fuck knows if shops are even open and receiving mail. every now and then someone buys the vinyl via bandcamp but it's slow going and looking at the releases in boxes on a shelf in the basement is long beyond old feeling. thought about offering up 20 or so to watmm'ers as a gift and mailing them out no charge but feels weird some how. again, didn't sleep well or at all. wtf. i need one night of good sleep to right this ship already. edit: also, feeling a rant about ambient music coming on and trying hell to resist venting about it because same complaints can lodged against any genre probably but ambient seems so stagnant. will stop. stop. stop.
  15. don't say viral. no one wants to go viral this year.
