  1. has there ever been any discussion of the origin of the opening sample of this - the Hawkwind track, it's one of those odd instances where the beginning of two records is exactly the same
  2. It's his most accessible and cohenerant in my opinion, a big journey of a release... if you want to hear it send me a DM
  3. I think it's part of 'Khyra' from Tektra, don't have time to find what part as it's in three sections and over seventy minutes!
  4. Sounds like a part of 'Tektra' by Roland Kayn to me, not heard it for a very long time but that's what immediately pings to mind - somewhere within the (nearly) five hours of it... one of his best in a huge catalogue of releases
  5. At The Barbican it was Chris Fullard, no idea if he was touring with them - he does a lot of *heavy* stuff - recently Sunn O))) for quite a few years
  6. They are up there now - anything someone can do to improve them please have a go - keep it in this forum please, don't throw them all over the internet - I record these for the enthusiasts
  7. I've just put my Zoom recordings (48/24 WAV) up in the download area... no tampering on them apart from topping and tailing and levelling the L/R a little
  8. 10. Yea, it was two versions of the same sequences - second time worked better I thought.
  11. Yea, they are my photos - I was there with :zoviet*france: for their soundcheck, have known the guys for years, used to work with them on projects when they were running their Charrm label back in the 1990's, the company I co-ran was one of their distributors etc. I missed the AE soundcheck, turned up just in time to witness them checking the efficacy of the blackout!
  12. It's a real-time video, not a still, if you stayed on one section of it you would have seen the wind move some of it and the light shifts, it's just *very* subtle! As for the timing, yes, they were up against the schedule, usually they have an hour to develop the different shifts and themes, thirty minutes is a little short for them to fit the narrative arc.
  13. Yes! I'm not sure if I can share them about as the guys didn't manage to record their sets, they had some pretty bad technical problems in soundcheck and it wasn't possible for them to sort it, so I've passed them on in case they want to do anything with them - send me a DM and I'll let you know
  14. Hi there, They are 48KHz, 24Bit WAV recorded on a ZoomH4npro - both recorded from the stalls - 1st set from Row J, central left, 2nd set stalls Row G dead-centre - both need some handling of the bass end, a bit of balancing of the mids and top end to make it breathe a bit more as the low-end can be a little overwhelming, but still needs that punch. Send me a DM and I'll get the files to you if you want to give it a go.
  15. Ah yes, they did a really nice job on my previous batch (London R.F.H., Brighton Concorde2, Manchester Granada Studios) - are you out there Amni?
  16. Who's the best person on the forum currently for sorting out files? I have recordings of both Barbican sets but they will need some subtle mastering attention and hosting somewhere, I don't have a mega account etc. I'd like W.A.T.M.M.ers to be able to hear them but don't want them splashing all over YouTube...
  17. would really appreciate a pm if you manage a rip, thanks!
  18. these links dont work. anyone want to provide new links? Dropbox shut down those links as mentioned above in this thread > quote: for generating excessive traffic There are smaller, remastered versions posted by Phling in the downloads section of all three, if you want all of the original untampered files please DM me as I can't make the links generally available after the dropbox slap.
  19. could make sense for the unmastered versions - anyone had any experience of their policies? There's certainly tons of bootlegs on there, mastered and otherwise I believe, usually in a range of formats. Also there's stuff like the entire Aphex SC dump. OK, thanks for your suggestions, I just want to put them somewhere so they'll be available and I don't have to do admin on them... have suggested watmm to a moderator before and they seemed to think the files were too big, would be fine if someone wanted to remaster them and post them as watmm downloads, other than that I'll most likely see if I can get them up on Archive Org, will post links again when I have them sorted out.

  21. Just been informed by Dropbox that my links have been suspended, so downloads won't function, quote: for generating excessive traffic not something I can put attention to at the moment, it's a Pro account, so that means it's gone over 200GB a day, according to their stats... if anyone wants to host these elsewhere or perhaps smaller versions could be submitted to the downloads section send a DM to arrange something...
  22. I was wondering if someone was going to step forward and admit to that! ha...
