  1. Wow, almost everything I would've posted was posted (Eufloria, LIMBO, Katamari, Grim Fandango, some others).

Here are my two favorites from binding of Isaac.

Also, the Ratchet and Clank soundtrack is one of my all-time favorites. I really liked how each level would be made up of 3 or so songs that were all variations of one-another.

John Marwin's Music in CactusSquid's Clean Asia is also excellent.

  2. Really? Joyrex said he wasn't? Now I'm very confused.

It was semi-complicated, and I'm shakey on the details, but I had a conversation about it once on chatmm, and someone told me who he was, but I forgot. Unless everyone was fucking with me, which is highly possible.

Edit: FYI, It wasn't someone well-known.

  3. Ok. So what's the verdict on Sup? Are him and Maximus Mischief the same poster? Is he a dupe of someone else? Is he an original poster having fun with a silly persona? Or is he exactly who he says he is (doubtful)?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Cuz its def prety mystrius.

Sup and Maximus are separate, sup was a dupe of a banned member (which is known), and the persona is half-half from what I can tell.

  4. Just don't think so hard about finding a girl right now.

I know, the problem is that I've met someone who is really awesome and we have a good time together, but I'm not confident enough to take it to the next level, so to speak.

I would usually feel this way but if the interest seems mutual between you and her, what could possibly go wrong then?

The friend zone. Which is horrible in itself.

  5. The Death of Rave (19 hours of music/part of the 365 project) is available for download. It's not pirating because James is fine with it.

I'm currently 4.5 hours in, and I am really enjoying it. It's a lot like The Caretaker, but instead of ballroom ditties being cut up, it's 80's/90's rave being washed-out. The "album" showcases the beauty of these rave melodies, stripping it of any "hardcore" attributes and turning it into a long droney dream.

I really want to hear the rest of the 365 project now.

  6. Hit a deer with my car. Have to ride my bike to college while it's in the shop, and it's cold/uphill.

Apparently didn't fill out EVERYTHING to receive student loans, so I did that today and should receive them after I get a late fee.

My girlfriend is a town away (certainly not a bike-ride away), and doesn't have a car. So I'm bummed.

Aw, my dreads are dandruff-y, and I'm almost out of shampoo too. And I have to buy my shampoo in the town my girl-friend lives in because they have a co-op.

  7. The_Night_The_Light.jpg

Found it in a very small town (I think less than 60 people live there, but it had a huge 3 story shop). Michael Jackson's "Ben" was there too. The collection was massive and the lady said it was about to triple thanks to a donor.

Sadly my Record Player is broken. And I'm subscribed to an LP mailing list D:

  8. Gah, I just received this in the mail.

It sounded promising, but the tile tracks are such a pain in the fucking ass. The rules say you can play without the track, but that seems to defeat the purpose of the game. I need me some new word games. I only like Boggle and Scrabble so far. This and Scribbage are pretty shit.

  9. Fuck, I love Monopoly. Played everyday during study hall of my senior year of high school. Most of these games look super nerdy complicated, and I never have the patience for those. That Star Wars game sounds pretty awesome though.

  10. I have nobody to play board games with besides my dad, so I don't play as often as I would like to. I miss playing Tantrix in the beach with my dad.

Pretty much my issue as well. My girlfriend and I play a lot of board games, but she doesn't like Chess or shit like that, so I have no one to play with.

What happened to the WATMM games? It'd give me something to do when I'm stuck at school. I'm sure they cost too much.

  11. I like well known classics such as Chess and Taboo. And I really really like Boggle. But I've been discovering new games as of late that are pretty damn awesome.

Magnificent Race: Very original game. There's a good deal of luck involved, but you and your friends all compete with one another in addition to a NPC who can win the game. Plus the art style is gorgeous.

3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing) made some awesome games.

Breakthru: Difficult strategy game, one tries to break through defenses with a flag ship, and the other tries to kill the flag ship.

    pic119969_md.jpg

Pokemon Master Trainer: This game appears to be based on the original game boy games. It's a little shitty, but my friends and I nerded out and made very complicated alternative rules. Game play lasted fucking hours.

If you know of any odd games or not well known ones, post them.
