  1. I will be as well.. Hague trip and tix booked a while back, and just secured Stockholm too!
  2. He also dropped it in Stockholm! Went hard. (timestamped below)
  3. Someone found that one of the QR codes posted by Weirdcore on instagram lead to this URL showing up: https://www.boxh0d2lu.xyz/ Which, it appears, redirects you to the below view as soon as you input /<whatever> after the above link. This becomes "28062023" when decoded from base64. I don't take credit for this discovery... but felt an obligation to share.
  4. I've got a near 17 minute recording I've been touching up. Sadly not the best quality since it was a phone in pocket situation and the bass was occasionally too much for the poor mic (so a good bit towards the end is pretty muddy, but conveys the general onslaught OK I feel, if anything).? Where do I best upload?
  5. A few short clips I took. Apologies for cutting the first one right as the bassline comes in. Also got some OKish audio only ones, but only a small chunk of the set. 20230610_225341.mp4 20230610_223254.mp4
  6. He played Intensified Magnetron by Drexciya early on. I think mixed with Elephant Song lol.
  7. Prime Aphex acid last night, possibly one of the hardest sets of late? That I've heard at least. Elephant Song, 54 Cymru Beats, Plug - 7.44 mixed into MT1 t29r2, Drexciya and some luscious live (?) or studio-treated ex-live tracks. Heard some very familiar bits from the 2019 sets but had 808 and shit, not just 909. Lots of jungle and footwork-ish belters, last 30 mins or so was a full on barrage of sound. First track I believe it was, or second, sounded like a delirious Collapse kinda to me. In the best way. No hardware visible to my eyes, but his stage rig was different from last gigs, two Macbooks (one for each eye?), and presumably a mixer and maybe some gear out of view from the audience. Wild VFX and lightshow, trippy conconctions of circuit boards, synth panels and shapes, logos... hah. 10 out of 10. I have some crappy phone recordings if anyone is curious, maybe they're already floating around though, have been busy recovering. ?
  8. Anyone want to meet up? I'm pretty lonely in here...
  9. Barely two days left now.. I'm going.
  10. Got an email from the festival Rosendal Garden Party that's happening in Stockholm in June. Aphex Twin is announced on June 10. The interesting thing is, it says it's his first live gig in Sweden, contrasting this with the DJ set at Hultsfredsfestivalen 1999. Let's have it! Oh, also, tickets on Thursday at 10 am local time.
  11. Nothing on my end yet... Want to blast this while I have the house to myself. Sean pls. ?
  12. jatevee C is so wonderfully wonky and lush. And Exai has got to be my most consistently satisfying listen from the boys, something about the earthy tone (I hope you get what I mean, referring to the distinctly less prominent highs compared to the later elseq and NTS stuff, and the rich midrange and the timbres they're using) and the extremely strong cohesion throughout, where I don't think a single track sticks out in the negative sense. runrepik is another example, along with spl9 and vekoS, where the sense of space is just amazing for the ears. They're eally nailing that kinda sci-fi, momentum-filled sense of urgent movement and again, the depth and sense of placement within a vast space. I also like how in many of the tracks the bass is slightly less deep and subby to my ears, and instead has a satisfying low end thump to it.
  13. Does anyone know how to indicate to them that you'd like two codes (I'm planning on sharing one with a friend)? Or if it's automatic? I had two tickets but went with a family member (me mum, if you're curious - she enjoyed it but maybe not the biggest fan normally) who doesn't need a code. I did what was instructed and sent an email etc, but not sure if I should've specified somehow that I'd like both codes sent my way. I booked both tickets with the same account and email address, of course. I feel like they should know that and it should go smoothly and all but y'kno... Wasn't entirely clear in the email imo.
  14. My experience at the gig this past Sunday was generally positive, although the clicks and pops at their most prominent did limit my enjoyment of the concert a little. I've been an avid listener for roughly eight years (since teens) and this was my first AE_LIVE, so I guess I had a bit of bad luck there... The concert was loud and relentless in its pummelling as described above, but that definitely helped convey the immense power of it. It started out quieter with an ominous wind-ish pad thing over some lighter beats, then just got amped up to 11 and barely went below a 10 after that, until the end. I didn't wear plugs for the duration of the Ae set. The person I went with said it sounded like "a force of nature", which I think is quite apt. Ilpo's set was nice as well, although that one I couldn't do without plugs. Even got to talk to Sean a little before the gig as he was chilling outside the venue with a couple of people. He complimented my shirt, a black t-shirt on with the word 'ELECTRO' printed inside a white square. Saw Rob walking through the foyer as well a bit after that but didn't want to interrupt his swift passage. From my perspective it looked almost as if he went by undetected. Overand, it's one I'll remember and I can't wait for a quality soundboard capture assuming they got a good rec.
  15. Just got an email from ticketmaster regarding the Helsinki gig on Sunday. Doors are 6:40 pm Ilpo Väisänen playing 7 to 7:30 pm Ae start at 8 pm (no end point given) Hello btw
