  1. They should come at home, I have better brews than Grimbergen ! But OK, my sofa is a little smaller...
  2. I guess that like during the Brussels show, this part constituted almost the first 2 thirds of the live. It was slamming, before the final section which sent us into the multiverse, without the need of any pictures. My brain is still stuck on the walls of AB, while my legs never moved so much at a gig from them.
  3. Ilian Tape catalogue was on Spotify, but following Skee Mask move, they decided to remove it. https://ra.co/news/76604

I've read somewhere he indeed found that things are getting too metaphysical after Messiah.
  5. I took my time to make my first listen of Perspective, which is great. I'm still amazed after all these years listening to her stuff of how she always keeps the right balance between sharpness and power. Good idea from µ to include the Embryo EP to the CD version ! Can't wait for that proper new album, those first singles are setting the tone.
  6. He's bringing ultratonics in Brussels on may 5th. https://www.bozar.be/en/calendar/ryoji-ikeda-ultratronics-live-set
  7. This cut from the Ku:Palm era was also OK : And also this one, released on Tectonic : But this is nowhere near the standard he had reached with Modus Operandi. Good point though: his DJ Kicks mix is one of the best in the series.
  8. Once I attended there for Rival Consoles, who was playing at Henry Le Boeuf Hall, which is the one we see on the picture. It was such a treat ! This would be great as a venue for an Autechre gig, but AB main hall will be fine !
  9. https://wemerecords.com/shop/heinrich-mueller-false-vacuum-2-2lp-turquoise-solid-vinyl-pre-order/ 90 left at the time of writing. Yes. It was the same for the first volume.
  10. Don't miss The Capsule Pride, he released under is Bwana moniker. https://luckyme.bandcamp.com/album/capsules-pride
  11. Next opus is being release on october 13 ! HYbr:ID Vol. 2 is the second installment of Alva Noto’s HYbr:ID series initiated in 2021. The new album captures the music commissioned to score Richard Siegal’s Ectopia performed in 2021 by Tanztheater Pina Bausch with Shooting into the Corner (2008-09) by Anish Kapoor. Building upon the blend of immersive dub and electronica from the first installment, HYbr:ID Vol. 2 takes the listener on a journey into the realm of intricately manipulated digital production. These ten compositions delve into infinity, drawing inspiration from resonance and elasticity, concepts rooted in Minkowski’s four-dimensional spacetime model. Throughout the album, Carsten Nicolai summons precise rhythmic patterns that gracefully hover, reminiscent of celestial bodies orbiting in perfect cosmic unison. The sonic landscape gradually unfolds with somber and brooding tones, incorporating spacious sound design, ethereal atmospheres, and cascading metallic percussions. These elements are delicately crafted with artistic finesse, set against a backdrop of expansive dub textures. At times, the music takes unforeseen turns, as melancholic chords skitter and meander through a digital haze, evoking an atmosphere of introspection and emotion. The ten compositions are accompanied by graphic notations informed by the album’s sonic and acoustic codes. 01. HYbr:ID Ectopia Environment 02. HYbr:ID Ectopia Elastic 1 03. 12. First CD is spinning right now. This is georgeous. So lush... I aready know what will be on intensive play in the next few weeks!
  13. Both are worth your time. I think Zabiela's first disc is the standout, while being the most chilled of the 2. The first 10 minutes of the second disc sounds a bit ugly to my ears, and then things are getting better. Max Cooper Balance 030 has quality written all long of both discs, shifting style between modern classical and more breakbeat moments, successing in terms of transitions, track selection and overall flow.
  14. Still nothing announced about an upcoming album, but it's most probably the case.
  15. Earlier in the morning I watched the livestream of their set at Coachella, and the contrast of quality between ...red (patterns, layers, groove, whatever) and the usual bangers sounded even more bold in that context.
  16. That cover of Cure's "A Forest'' really bring the misty feel to a parallel level.
