  1. fresh stuff from WeMe Analord meets eod ? the other tracks on the WeMe website sound as good.
  2. This one... (activate automatic eng subs) There is something about the photography in his movies that i find very digital, too defined and realistic. I wonder if his cinema would work even better with a more cinematic analog-esque style of picture. I actually regraded Réalité in davinci for a second viewing and it was definitely a better experience with more colors and less definition.
  3. I guess this is the kind of movie with which you have to "sign a contract" at the beginning. Either you accept the rules of that universe, or you reject it. For me it was the latter. Even though on paper the pitch looked interesting, I felt tortured while watching this. This movie says nothing... I demand my 2.5 hour back ! Also, I now hate flangers.
  4. I missed the Ae preshow thingy... How often do watmm peeps have meetup in London actually ? I just moved there and would love to get yet another excuse to get myself drunk...
  5. I wasn't on anything, but there was that moment on the second set, three quarters in, before the groovy stuff... It gave me orgasmic shivers, tail-bone to hair, as a sort of a dark oily resonant sea-wave crashed on me as i "was" an indoor cave beach on a cthulhuian planet.
  6. Just saw Nitram Well balanced, poetic, and with a non-manichean point of view, that movie is almost perfect.
  7. https://wemerecords.com/shop/dopplereffekt-calabi-yau-space-2lp-silver-vinyl-pre-order/ Yaz!
  8. I was an pre-internet 2.0 exchange student for a year in Mexico city, in 98, and my mate was shipping tapes once in awhile cos that's a cool thing to do. I've heard what I didn't know was Eutow on one of his tape, recorded from some Belgian radio show. It Blew my mind..., rewound it like a million times, to the point that all the trebles were scratched away from the distorted tape. Still sounded amazing, if not more. Found out a year later that it was Autechre. I must still have that tape somewhere, in one of those boxes that also typically contain old business cards, a cool ashtray from your first apartment, dry stationary you'll never use again, funky keychains tied together, ikea allen keys, and tiny knickknacks you keep for god knows what reasons.
  9. I really wouldn't mind going to a gig with this on, getting pissed drunk and jumping in the pogo....
  10. I remember reading somewhere that he used a lot of jupiter 4 for those wild bass (with a hint of white noise). This release sounds more like 90's gear though
  11. What an awesome bunch of tracks. Kudos Fred !
  12. bought an S3000XL for 20eu few years back, as the guy though it was a non working amp. Never used it. The interface on those akai sampler is a moodkiller for me.
