Hilarious, nearly the same thing happened to me, actually. My wife had ordered me a refurb set for Christmas, right before we left to visit with my family over Christmas, ONE monitor arrived but not the other. When we got back and called them, they went "oh, well I see, we only actually had one refurb monitor available". So they send us a pair of brand new ones for the same price.

thanks! Yah, the 2031's were way way too good for the money, really. I would have preferred the HR824's I think, but for like twice the price the minute performance difference was bullshit.

There's a program called "202hack" that translates a MIDI sequence into 202 tape dump data. Even translates certain CC's into "neat tricks" like fake 303-style slides. Here it is

Question about the 202 since I'm too lazy to look into it, I've toyed with buying one for a while, am I correct in my understanding that the sequencer is two tracks, ie, I could run seperate sequences, one to the internal synth and the other controlling my dotcom modular? YES. Thisket, how do you synch up yr 606 and 202s with the rest of your rig? Oh now that's just nuts on a cracker. I'm now having dreams of midi/din syncing the 202 and Micro Modualr together, all running little sync' sequences along with the big daddy modular.....

I'd say that considering the sheer power of Tetra Sync knocked me unconscious and rendered me sterile, it's a bit better than Iambic 9, although I like it quite a bit as well.
