  1. Easy lionel. It has been like that for at least a month. https://www.reddit.com/r/aphextwin/comments/cdfi7s/subtle_changes_to_aphextwinwarpnet/
  2. I agree with OP! I am pro-lush and proud. Lush is the only choice. Say no to discordance.
  3. You stopped at the wrong one! Colundi Level 16 is the most beat heavy of the Colundi and kicks Simulation's ass if you ask me. Check this for an example. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yfH60tVry4
  4. Reported to moderator for causing feeling of slight disappointment.
  5. Well I definitely thought this Aphex Bleepstore would be way more fun. I love the new tracks but the excitement level is nothing compared to the constant dribble of gems coming during the heyday of the Soundcloud dump. I am considering emailing Beau Thomas and asking him why it is taking him so long to master old unreleased Aphex Twin tracks. It has to be him that is holding this up.
  6. https://www.absurdrecordings.com/ The Trickfinger project was recorded 10 years ago with no intention of being released at the time, made purely for discovery and learning experience. “In my opinion, making music with no intention of releasing it is the best thing a musician can do for his own development in this day and age. The Trickfinger LP was made in that mindset, and it was the beginning of a new musical life for me. When I hear it, it sounds like I am opening up doorways to new worlds, and I never have had that feeling listening to music I made for the purpose of releasing it and selling it.” All the music was recorded live onto a CD burner, through a cheap mixer. John would sit on a chair, in his living room, surrounded by five to 15 machines, and just keep programming and jamming until the track was ready to be recorded. There were no overdubs – recorded all live. Acid Test unearthed these recordings and John agreed to a release. Trickfinger II is the second part to the recordings made during the winter of 2007. Trickfinger II will be released September 8th, 2017 LP/CD/Digital on Acid Test, distributed worldwide by Wordandsound.
  7. Daddy1 sighting! F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F55F5F5F5F5F5F5F5F5……
  8. Previews are up on Beatport http://classic.beatport.com/release/comic/2085296 Minimal german rapping - yaaas! Other Siriusmo news: Justin Bieber sampled Siriusmo! Hopefully a bit of cash for the big man: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUqQUUxHfNY Also just found out that Siriusmo produced Romano's last album, perhaps providing the beats? Funny vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqcUdTwBOck
  9. New album from Siriusmo on September 14th. He has released some great stuff over the years. His last album, Enthusiast, was a bit too cartoonish at times for me. The new one is called “Comic” so I fear that it might continue the trend but I am sure it will be interesting nonetheless. https://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=39719 Album teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIDyPLU5PnE Single teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky6TAD2wTHc He loves Korg synthesizers so may listen out for some monologue action on this one. If you do not know this guy here are a couple of my favourites by him. He has such a unique fun sound: Einmal in der Woche schreien: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OfoY3kiejE Blau Sonne: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfpYZhZWp-0
  10. Have to admit, I was a little surprised to hear him play this in his Fuji Rock set to his credit he did change its name to clissold 101[dat28 otari] 48k He remastered it to fully remove all traces of racism.
  11. I'm highly doubtful of this. If it's a 303 sound, then it's probably from a real 303. I'll give you two reasons why I'm not doubtful 1. He used TWO different presets from phoscyon. 2. He released this track with pretend analog extmix 2b. Which sounds very similar production-wise and richard has himself admitted it was soft-synths. Every time I head on the internet it usually ends in disaster but here goes: There is actually an explanation of how he made the track on the aphex twin warp site by the man himself but hey don’t let that bother you!
  12. I just told my wife “if you need me, dear, I will be in the GAK comments section of the Aphex Twin Bleep store”.
  13. If “…I Care Because You Do” had been released in 1995 with the 20 tracks currently on the site, where would it rank in the list of greatest electronic albums of all time? Has to be the best amirite?
