Sorry bro, but we just don't know yet how awesome the SIGN material is. So we can't do anything else that show our excitement and unpatience to hear it with being a community and keep us chatting, laughing, making the waiting time shorter. Ae fan community the best of all.

Yeah, I'm not really fond of Blomkamp neither, but he used Pro Radii in one of his shorts... respect, where it's due...
-
I would guess, that Neill Blomkamp and Darren Arronofsky are Ae-fans... the only directors (besides Cunningham) who used their music.

Ian tdr: "Fuck, now I have REdeSIGN it!"

Totally agree.

Yepp, but YT suggested it to me based on my views and I never heard of this channel before. Could be nothing though. Just found it interesting.

What I meant with the previous post: could it be that these Autechre discography reviews were hidden marketing ordered by Warp?

We already had that with Oversteps. The design hinted on it with the Malevitch reference.

Yepp, that's what I meant. That it's probably no solo album. Some guys here thought it could be.

I don't know if this is a proof against the Sean-album / Rob-album theory, but the copyright impressum in the Ae newsletter for SIGN reads like this...

yeah, Cichlisuite, you're right. Similar font, just with a bit more spaced characters. Now, that I look on my CD-shelf the fonts used from Anti till Tri repetae (first letter in capital, bold Arial-like font) was pretty consistent too, and it kinda came back on Oversteps/Move of Ten, but probably already on Quaristice just in italics. And the proper title on NTS is in the same vein too. Really left field were imo only the fonts for Chiastic Slide and Exai.

I'm wondering if the second album will be called a proper album, or released as an album-length ep, like EP7 and Move of Ten...
-
I think they used that Century-Gothic-like font for writing "autechre" straight trough from LP5 to Untilted in slight variations. That was kinda going logo-like. Then Quaristice happened.

LP, CD, T-shirt pre-ordered! Yay! Went sleep for 1 month...

Yeah. But you get what I mean. It's a more unusual title for them. Right?
-
The title is a real word.... with a meaning.. ? There was no such thing since Amber / Garbage... Edit: Okay... Oversteps kinda made sense too.

I really love the NTS design. Simple but has some effect.

I guess the one is white the other is black.

The guy made a drawing of an Autechre gig of 2016.

It is weird. But it was better I expected. To have this little pauses in between helps a bit to endure the length, but the emotional experience diminishes a bit too. It wont be my favourite version (that's the CD or the 24-bit wav), but doesn't feel wrong either.

I have an old fashioned hi-fi setup, and have no network music player in it, but I have a CD-player and a turntable. And I like physical objects.

I was for long time reluctant to buy NTS 4 on vinyl because of the sliced up tracks. But this week I gave it up and bought it from a local record shop (with the scond intention of keep the shop going in the corona-situation), got it yesterday, and listened to the entire thing. To have this long tracks chopped off into parts make it weirdly an easier listen, but somewhat lessens the impact too. TBH I was more pleasently surprised as annoyed by it. And the sound quality is great. I'm happy to have it.
