If Google ads only donks up the site for non subscribers that’s fine right?
Im happy to pay my 20 bucks a year for the ekt plus despite not really using any of the added benefits because in terms of entertainment:dollar ratio I think Watmm beats all of the other things I subscribe to.
My suggestion would be to increase the price of the basic subscription to get rid of ads to two to three coffees per year but maybe that would actually decrease subscriptions if people think it’s too much
failing that, a sponsor - the north face

I agree, I think the Palestinians and hamas should take that approach too, there’d be far more people alive now if they simply submitted to the Israelis
This principle can be extended to all conflicts - if the invading force is more powerful than you and more likely to win - just roll over and take it so you can save some lives - clearly the only humane option

It’d be lovely if puberty could just wait until the age of 21 so all these troglodytes could fuck off with their “but the children” arguments but unfortunately reality intervenes.
I can only speak to how gender clinics work where I come from but basically they’re staffed with people who are experts in these conditions who never take any life altering decisions lightly and always involve multiple assessments from psychologists, endocrinologists and surgeons - informed consent is still a legal requirement - look up gillick competence summon - that’s the deciding factor

I recently read the first foundation book - I haven’t watched the new series but frankly I don’t think it would be hard to improve on the dialogue at the very least (the chapter with lord dorwin is almost unreadable)
maybe some of the concepts are fleshed out better in the subsequent books but “psychohistory” also feels like a very handwavey plot device
