  1. Why does this bang though Ai could be fun to experiment with when you put it in the context of generative music like some richard devine or ae type stuff. I probably wouldn't like to listen to it as much as human produced abstract music but it could be fun to see what sounds the ai could cook up
  2. Best track Morphology isn't my favorite act by any means but this has turned out to be a nice project.
  3. Nahh that Simpsons remix was funny and meant to be sarcastic. Love hudmo's sense of humor
  4. I think the people that want to keep listening to real and human produced music will know where to look tbh. That's why I don't think music is over yet. I do worry for the further saturation of the music landscape, genres getting flooded with this ai shit.
  5. https://ad93.lnk.to/Metallur?fbclid=PAAaYLniL1m5moOSn0oHpabhaCBaYZZ1M7p5ThXRYArMvxeN4pLvTKuFG51lU New track out
  6. Have a nice easter WATMM
  7. Bump because this album is amazing and has grown on me massively. Tracks like Cross The Gap, The Break-up, Uncoil and Lagrange Point are all insanely cool footwork/ dnb type crossovers. Especially the latter is such a satisfying listen after the astro darion interlude. Love the smooth way Uncoil ends too. Getting into footwork as a genre really gave me new appreciation for this album. You can see that Steve has a creative mind.
  8. I agree with Pizza, I don't really think Vault is the best solution to the problem that is modern streaming. Blake took a stance against Spotify and then announced his Vault venture only a few days later. Because of that it looked like he was just trying to stir up something/ promote Vault tbh. id'prefer it if people just put their music for purchase instead of these weird half assed subscription services. I feel like the quality of music released under the guise of a subsciption service would diminish because the artist feels obligated to release something for the people who pay for it.

    Dune

Almost done reading Heretics, I liked the characters and I feel like the story was easier to understand than some of the prior books actually. what is everyone's opinion on the latter couple of Dune books?
  10. Speed Of Darkness, Iris, Open Canvas and Auset are incredible bangers. I feel like this genre doesn't lend itself that well to innovation so considering that I feel like she's making the best out of it. Amazing album
  11. Can't wait for this collab, love both artists and the tracks sound unique.
  12. Really liking the crunch of these beats. This is one I'll be returning to.
  13. New album from Speedy and Surgeon out on STOOR releasing may 17th. It's the first stoor album release ever! Two Hours Or Something | Multiples (Speedy J & Surgeon) | STOOR (bandcamp.com)
  14. Liking the vocal cuts ont thise one, nice to have him back for sure!
  15. Four Tet reminds me of beautiful, start of spring weather. One should be able to enjoy "simple" music. FT combines lush, natural sounding instruments with (sometimes even banging) house or garage beats. I like the predictability because there is still no other artist out there that can truly copy Kieran. The 4M listeners on Spotify are well deserved! It looks like he's living his best life, and rarely does someone rise in popularity like he has this late into a career. If I'm being honest I understand that he's more popular than afx Pause, TILIY, Beautiful Rewind, Pink, New Energy, 16O and this new one are all classics that I return to with fondness
  16. Loving the serene feeling of this album. Most of the tracks have nearly the same slow tempo and drums, which makes it sound cohesive. Loving Skater, 31 Bloom and Daydream Repeatand Loved especially at the moment.
  17. This is out guys It sounds kinda rock-ish?

    Dune

I am beyond ecstatic about how this movie turned out, just saw it today. I never thought this series would get such a good interpretation (I never thought it would get another one at all actually) The first movie was really really good but it did feel like a set-up. That's the way i went into part 1 anyway so i wasnt dissapointed about it at all. This new one though, is on another level. Jawdropping effects, an amazing portrayal of the story and lovely casting. Thank god i didnt go into this watching any of the trailers because seeing it without knowing what was to come. Love to Denis for pulling it off once again and better than ever
  19. It's been a while Sometimes this guy popped into my mind at random times so I'd look him up to see what he was up to. Every time I checked he seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth Glad to be getting some new shit sooooon!
