I hear you. I do really love the album because it feels like its the culmination of their modern sound, and seeing the development of that sound with their prior singles was great but I do think that moving forward they need a change of sound because this type of electronic music falls intro repetition and mediocrity very easily and I feel like they are already walking a fine line when it comes to that.

The tracks don't have a lot of variation among them but it sounds nice. Some cool bangers in there.

This album is probably ending up in the year end list. Love the emotion and harsh truths of his album. The beats are great and I really enjoy dannys normal voice. Amazing project from a man who has already released one of the better rap albums of the past few years at the start of 2023.

Very weird album, I dont really like the concept of the continuous tracks (but that is not exclusive to this project)

Glad this also released this year, although tbh I haven't really returned to Phocus all that much. VHS Head requires a very specific mood for me to be in and I haven't been in that mood all year.

I loove time makes nothing happen. This sounds nice but he's never topped that album imo

Very interested to hear this. I never expected Andre to release anything solo ever so it's a very unexpected but nice surprise. OutKast is one of the best hiphop duos to have ever existed imo. It's nice that he doesn't give into the expectations the mainstream sets for rappers and just does his own thing!
