  1. Sorry, it did not come up in my search!
  2. I didn't see a thread for AI Art, which surprised me, but please correct me if I am wrong. I have what might be one the first art books of AI art that I know of... A friend of mine.
  3. This is a long out-of-print 6 tape set that is now being made available digitally. 12 artists in the experimental/noise varieties, all solo artists, all criminally underappreciated. Highly recommended.
  4. I couldn't remember the name of this one. It is considered a "classic" in some circles. For good reason. https://akirarabelais.bandcamp.com/album/spellewauerynsherde
  5. Basinski's Disintegration Loops Eno's Discreet Music I'll also say that I love Eno's Ambient 3, but not a whole lot else. His work with Harmonia is great, of course his proper glam/pop/rock music is great, and I do like The Ship, but a lot of it is not so good to my ears. However, I do love the aforementioned releases. Aphex Twin's Ambient Works are not to be missed, even if they've been mentioned over and over, and may or may not be "truly ambient". The Caretaker is essential, as far as I'm concerned. Windy & Carl Oval Protman is known as an IDM type, but he did do an ambient album that basically sounds like a canned soft drink opening, and all the effervescence that comes with it.... I'll just leave it at that for now, before I start getting into Dark Ambient and arguing with myself between the two. I do have an ambient record out, limited to 5 copies... Ahem.. . if I may say so. Feel free to take a gander. https://nopartofit.bandcamp.com/album/heaven-brain
  6. Thank you! Yes, I'm listening now. I'm picky about synth stuff, but this is good! The Fins have something in the water!
  7. This one is an LP limited to 10 copies, lo-fi ambient noises and loop-based industrial noise sounds.
  8. Everything on this label is great. https://invisiblecityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/messages-from-beyond-the-veil
  9. My favorite is COIL - Time Machines I also like a good amount of Daniel Menche's drone material. Here is a recent drone release that I did: https://nopartofit.bandcamp.com/album/northern-state
  10. Some mention of COIL happens in this interview, and Hawthonn would be recommended to fans of COIL without a doubt... https://arvozylo.medium.com/interview-with-hawthonn-no-part-of-it-interview-series-32-248631ce5a9a
  11. I'm not an expert, but I am very particular. Basically all of these tracks have something that stands out to me, like an odd sound structure, a quirkiness, or a particularly apt melody. If this might be your thing, feel free.
  12. I made an italo disco playlist. I'm not an expert, but I am very particular.
  13. I was only really annoyed by the music that wasn't period specific, although the concept of not having period-specific music is fine with me, I didn't like the choices. Same goes for Hateful Eight. I also didn't think QT playing a cowboy was good. Took me out of the mythology a bit, because that dude does not look much like a cowboy no matter how you dress him. Other than that, I think all of the movies are great, although I did dismiss them before seeing them for some years. It's sort of advertised as cheesy, but Django Unchained was a good story, much less cheesy than the trailer for it, for what it's worth.
  14. My favorites: Scatology Horse Rotorvator Musick To Play In The Dark 1 & 2 Time Machines (excellent drone, if you're into that) The Ape of Naples Love's Secret Domain is an essential too.
