  1. you and your buddies kept your cool! well done. not being triggered is like a victory the walls are finally starting to crumble. this georgia case looks like it will get there yes yes!
  2. Not many buyers on bleep, i guess. I bought the Bandcamp version. As I mostly prefer buying digitals from bandcamp. Kenny is hugely underrated, imo. Love his work. Especially his earlier stuff. (corbomite maneuver as dark comedy)
  3. This worries me a bit because the last time I went to AE-gigs (around 2005) those experiences helped me appreciate their then-current music more. Untilted is one of those albums. Listening to Untilted at home initially, I thought it was a bit dry. It was AE going techno. But after seeing them live, I started to appreciate it more. In a live setting, it has a different impact. The context changes the music. But reading your experiences, I wonder whether I'll be able to appreciate these live sets more. Because I kind of agree with you. These sets don't click with me. There are some bits and pieces I can enjoy, but only for a short amount of time. After a while, the music starts to become obnoxious and annoying. It's very demanding without a reward. And I simply have to skip. And if having listened to them live doesn't help, I don't know what will.
  4. Novovax, that's Russian owned, right? We don't want to fund the war in Ukraine, do we?
  5. Yes! Trump wants the best for us normal people! The non-billionaires. He acts out of pure kindness and integrity. He. And he alone.
  6. I was assuming it was a copy paste from some pro trump reddit. Could be me living under a rock, but he usually doesn’t post like this right? Such a mindf#ck. Am I in, or not? Summon.exe, was it reddit, chatgpt or having fun role playing?
  7. Basically the idea is that communism tends to evolve into what you see in North Korea. Or put differently, you have various kinds of power structures for societies. And where there are power structures, there's also corruption of power. Or rather, the tendency to move into corrupt directions, if unchecked. In the case of North Korea you see an example where communism devolves towards. On the opposite side you could put the US. Whether or not they're equally corrupt is up for you to decide. But the comparison between both North and South Korea should be an obvious one, imo. The starting point was the same. The ending point...well yeah.
  8. I remember digital vinyls being a xlt thing. But that was a long time ago. Wouldn’t surprise me if the use of digital vinyls popped up in multiple places around that time. As digitals really became a thing. Maybe the Rephlex shop coined the term .
  9. I'd think most would have also bought the digitals back in the day. When the rephlex shop was up and running. That was around 2009 I'm guessing.
  10. I always tend to return to this talk by Stephen Schneider in discussions like these. As he does a great deal explaining all the complexities of climate science and its results. The arguments for and against. The talk is ancient at this point (13 years old!). But in terms of content and the various arguments addressed still relevant, imo. Whether that is a good thing or bad, I'll leave to you. Personally, I think its strength is in explaining the Bayesian reasoning behind what he calls systems science. This is especially relevant for the people criticizing climate science because of its lack of "falsification". It's also quite humbling in the sense that as a viewer it's obvious I don't have the expertise or experience to really have an argument on climate science. Also note the amount of "we don't know"s. And the amount of risk management. BTW, Stephen Schneider also played a key role in the early IPCC reports. (he died in 2010)
  11. where did the title of this track came from? All i could find was this 2 yr old video on the tube with the title. It wasnt on any soundcloud dump..was it?
  12. Yes, he could be more ambitious about releasing his music! ;D
  13. Thanks for the tip! I remember buying some Megalon back in '93. He's made a bunch of interesting techno tracks in those days. *welcomes nostalgia*
  14. A bit of amusement. A conversation (discussion?) between a psychiatrist, David Pakman, and a proud Trump supporter. It's an interesting thought experiment in and of itself. But yeah, it's probably going to be exactly what you'd expect. A liberal on a high horse. And a conservative making an idiot of himself. At the end of it, I'm starting to like neither. Or gain a bit more appreciation for the conservative for knowing he's behaving like a jackass. Or rather, himself. He just doesn't care. But I haven't watched the whole thing yet. It's moving in that direction very fast though.
  15. yeah had the same issue. didnt work in safari. but worked in chrome. i guess google now has a bit more knowledge to attach to me and my ip-adress. (and that safari tried to protect me against it)
