  1. Skullgirls is either really hard or I really suck at fighting games.

Its hard. I'm all right with fighting games, particularly good with MK. I picked up Skullgirls the moment it came out and did my best to main a solo Peacock, which was a bad idea in of itself. Combos are long winded, too many button presses with stringent timing. Good players can 100% you at times or just corner trap easily which is a bit of a turn off. I liked the game though; a really well made fighter overall. Seems like it's too late to get back into it, I would imagine anyone still playing that game has mastered it.

  2. Okay, Skyrim question for all of you:

Will this game become a tedious slog of micromanaging your inventory of bullshit and loot? I am sick to fuck of the WoW style character management.

Also, I am a wizard type caster and it's not very satisfying. Should I just go back to being a hack-and-slash type or does casting get better?

Level up archery and sneaking. I was the same way, level 100 conjuration, destruction, illusion and enchanting. I started levelling up sneak in combination with archery and it's brought some fresh game play. I use my spells to sneak around, show enemies and I slowly pick them off one by one. There's a few shouts/spells that are major aids; bound bow, muffle, detective life shout, etc.

  3. finished xavier: renegade angel. worked my way through the wire christmas break; just started season 4. i now understand what all the hype was about; it hasn't come short of its expectations (although i hear season 5 isn't the best). i wish i could be bunk.

it would be nice to get some more superjail; although i wasn't a big fan of the studio switch for season 2. also looking forward to bob's burgers, game of thrones and some other shit. ugly americans too.

  4. i was hesitant on nge at first, and was for awhile but i was promised it got better. once you get past the cutesy cliche anime bits and into the later episodes it's really worth it.

i'd like to get into ghost in the shell series, i've only watched the movies but enjoyed them. is the series for the most part pretty similar to the movies?
