  1. Nice one, I really loved this one in all it's lo-fi glory all those years, for an outtakes album it's a really strong release (just like Onclements Outtakes). Glad he's finally put it on bandcamp in full quality now 🙂 Take 06 and Take 01 are massive fav's.
  2. Yeah, I've had the full thing on a bunch of times in a row already. A is really lush, but B really hit the spot for me. Congrats andi, beautiful release. I hope the tape arrives from the void that is the UK now...
  3. So gutted about this. You will be so, so missed, Salv.
  4. They totally 80's-fied it. Massive 👌 "In 2015 when potential remixes of BIPP were first floated the unequivocal response from SOPHIE was “No remixes..” a long pause followed “..unless it’s Autechre”. We asked, and five years later an email from Autechre arrived “sorry this is so late, hope it's still of some use”. An Autechre live show recording from a Numbers show in 2005 had first inspired SOPHIE to source the equipment used to craft new music including BIPP, LEMONADE & more. The BIPP Autechre mx is 3 minutes 33 seconds long, stripped back and loose. Sounding like Autechre paying tribute to some serious late 80’s influences. The duo's interpretation channels an imagined transition point between NY electro and UK street soul, that pitched down SOPHIE vocal reconfigured into a wanna-be Latin Freestyle Natasha King, jiving over a deep slice of TR-606 funk technology.” Coming on vinyl soon! https://boomkat.com/products/bipp-autechre-mx
  5. Look at the order he put the latest albums in: More Midnight Sun albums to complete the puzzle? Not caught up with 2B yet, but I've heard 1 and 2A a bunch of times now, plus that 2 hour mix. Incredible how he keeps his sound fresh with the frequency of output. Hardly have time to revisit the older stuff, so whenever I'm in the mood for it (had a few months off with colundi) I can just catch up with just new stuff instead 🙂 Nice one, Aleksi. On the top of his game.
  6. Is the PSA still in covid-hibernation? Really miss the monthly shows, going back to listen to some previous (and favourite) ones again now. Hope the PSA crew are all floating along nicely in Cornish corner of space 🙂
  7. Nice job Squee, on the music and on the charity work. Ordered a few days ago after spiral tipped me about it 🙂
  8. Mark Fell distilled it years ago in this article: http://divergencepress.net/2015/02/02/2015-2-2-patterns-in-radical-spectra/ Unusual Electronic Music Typically Without Academic Affiliation (UEMTWAA) Also, if not that, braindance. End of thread.
  9. Bought it mid October at the Clone pop-up store when I went there with @hello spiral. Very lush EP and I was happy I could thank Serge for all of these recent Clone efforts. Too bad the label owner that put out the OG Abstract Thought album said he won't repress the album because of Alek Stark or I Love Acid style pretentions about manufactured exclusivity. Quite a pain in the ass as this album is one of the last Drexciya things that needed to be reissued?
  10. Standard black one with the label logo pls
  11. You didn't even make the Hakuna Kulala releases art? What a loser you are. Those are way better. For real: I've got pretty much all the Nyege vinyl / tapes and I was going to compliment you because I dig the design but the last you need is encouragement so I'll just say read the rules ? if you can get me a Nyege shirt (XL) I'll definitely get back on the praising wagon tho
  12. First AFX gig I went to, good fucking party.
  13. Getting live feedback of things I missed on the bingo. Updated version: Bummed we didn't include "Weirdcore does famous [country-specific] celebs with AFX faces" tho, he's been doing that for like 10 years too so that would've been an easy score.
  14. Just a heads up: Melodie is from 1995 (and rereleased in 1998), THR is (I think) a different version (without the vocal sample) from the Rephlex compilation where it was called Fcs.
  15. Not unreleased though... My favourite unreleased AE is easily this one (technically unreleased, promo only innit): Uploaded it almost 10 years ago, asked AE about it in the AAA (see video description). Blows all the other Keynell remixes out of the water, I'd do anything for a long version of this entire session (or anymore stuff of this era of AE). Other contestants: Coil remix (above mentioned) and Byproduct 2.b (Sensational Meets Kouhei - Sensachre 10 Mix (Autechre Remix) (Instrumental). The vocal version has been released obviously, but that instrumental is fire. Also, Sean's Horizon patch but I have it so I can enjoy it occasionally. Rob's leaked mix tape from ages ago too.
  16. @Lada Laika Well, the tags work anyway.
  17. Feels like Jesus rising from his grave, and it's almost easter too! What beautiful timing, welcome back Mozex. Verstuurd vanaf mijn ONEPLUS A3003 met Tapatalk
  18. Heard the initial bandcamp release which was really excellent, curious for the extra stuff. Bought!
